I kind of prefer Star Wars style starships over Star Trek style because:
They actually look old and battered
They have a more realistic and believable configurations like real wings and engines
They have cooler paint schemes
But these are still cool
Jumping in on this conversation, I think a turret part would be very limiting for the infinite possibilities of SP, something like a new inputlike “autoAim” would be more versatile @RailfanEthan @Awsomur

You can actually add fuel to wings and fuselage blocks so you shouldn’t need fuel tanks
