@Awsomur I thought so too, it's not like you can get very close to them though, since you're not exactly allowed by law to fly near them. Even if it wasn't illegal, I doubt it would be a very good idea anyway, especially considering all the water vapor that gets released into the air, that can't be very good for the prop engines, let alone a jet engine.
@Viper3000ad none, all you do is sign a contract, have a certified pilot take off for you, and then they let you fly around a restricted course that you're supposed to follow. They then land for you too, obviously.
@JohnnyBoythePilot Yeah, it was all over the news this morning, music fest and everything. Maybe they're just hiding it so nobody knows, just to make sure the general public doesn't go apeshit over everything.
@JohnnyBoythePilot all my friends were talking about it at school, so I joined in on the conversation, and my friend Weston was actually watching a livestream of it on Reddit!
@MrPorg137 Yes, they actually tried. Either they had a death wish, or they were just being idiots. I mean, it's Area 51, did they not know that it was heavily fortified and had defense posts everywhere?
@JohnnyBoythePilot killed today, at the event. They actually tried to literally invade the actual base, and we can only imagine how quickly they were mowed over by 50 Cals, or something else. There were actually 4 recorded attempts of an actual invasion of the base, two were killed, and the other two you mentioned were the others that tried to invade, but were arrested.
As happy as I am that SimpleRockets II is now out for mobile, I'm a little disappointed that you didn't release it tomorrow, as it would've been perfectly timed with the Area-51 Raid!
The thing I like the most about this is that I can actually run it on my IPad, I was worried the part count would be too high but it actually runs fine! I love how nice the cockpit looks too, very nicely done!
@FairFireFight well you can start today! They're like five dollars at AC-Moore, or basically any craft store or something like that. I usually get them off of Amazon, EBay, or any other shopping website, they're pretty cheap.
@gabr8be if you want to download it, all you need to do is download it normally, press undo, and then redo. It should appear in the designer, just without any Mod parts. It should still function properly without mods too, all it is is smoke trails.
@Randomdoggo you'll get there someday, don't worry! Believe me, I had no intention of getting to a higher rank when I first made my account, I saw those Platinum players when I first joined about 1.5 years ago, and though to myself, "Hehe, I'm never gonna get enough points to be with the Platinum Users." But hey, look at me now! I never gave up, I kept posting, and pretty soon I was starting to become a slightly relevant account! I still remember my first build that was actually popular, a fully functional model of the Maverick REV-6 Nerf Gun. It got lots of upvotes, way more than I had originally anticipated, and it inspired me to make more creations, it gave me hope that I would actually be able to contribute something nice to SimplePlanes! And hey,as long as you do the same, and you don't stop trying to strive for greatness, good things are sure to come!

@Randomdoggo it sure is!
@GINGER01 lol, I feel like people would notice that pretty easily though.
@Theflyingtrex well lucky you, is it the iPhone 11 Pro Max?

@Hedero thanks! The "Black Rank" is actually called Platinum, just as your rank is gold, grey is silver, brown is bronze, and white is carbon.

@QingyuZhou I meant "we" as the SimplePlanes community in general
@MrPorg137 probably.
@JohnnyBoythePilot all my friends were talking about it at school, so I joined in on the conversation, and my friend Weston was actually watching a livestream of it on Reddit!
@Strikefighter04 thanks, my personal favorite is probably the AH-64 Apache with the explosion in the background.
@MrPorg137 Yes, they actually tried. Either they had a death wish, or they were just being idiots. I mean, it's Area 51, did they not know that it was heavily fortified and had defense posts everywhere?
@QingyuZhou WHY DID YOU SPOTLIGHT THIS I THOUGHT WE AGREED THAT WE WOULD FORGET THIS NIGHTMARE FOREVER

Just coming back to this to share this small collage I made of my best SimplePlanes screenshots of all time: Clicky Clicky
As cool as this is, even 1985 had more pixels than that.
@plane918273645 lol yeah
As happy as I am that SimpleRockets II is now out for mobile, I'm a little disappointed that you didn't release it tomorrow, as it would've been perfectly timed with the Area-51 Raid!
I am speechless, hope your arm gets better!
Tag me
@QingyuZhou sounds good, my iPad would spontaneously combust if I tried to run that many parts at once, lol.
@QingyuZhou lag? What lag? For a total part count of 2,106, I'd say that that's pretty damn good FPS wise. What physics do you take?
The thing I like the most about this is that I can actually run it on my IPad, I was worried the part count would be too high but it actually runs fine! I love how nice the cockpit looks too, very nicely done!
I kept seeing this thing on Discord, wondering when you'd post it lol.
Me: notices the part count
Me: We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close!
Does it come with tea and crumpets?
@FairFireFight well you can start today! They're like five dollars at AC-Moore, or basically any craft store or something like that. I usually get them off of Amazon, EBay, or any other shopping website, they're pretty cheap.
@RailfanEthan want me to send you a pic of the real thing?
@Viper3000ad ooh, that's actually not a bad idea, I may have to try that someday!
@klm747klm747 wow, what device do you use?
@Murks you set the length of the fuselage to a negative number via XML.
@Viper3000ad the real one is rubber band powered, this one is powered by an engine, because that's just how SimplePlanes works.
Really nice interior, what's the part count so far?
Congratulations!
@belugasub there, now I am!
@belugasub I just realized I'm not following you, this is a tragedy!
Looks awesome, great job!
@EliteArsenals24 thanks!
@belugasub lol you're welcome

Unless it's a two-seater, judging from the plane-to-cockpit ratio, it appears to be pretty small, cool!

AC-130 Ghostrider ain't got nothin on this
@BlackhattAircraft oh, ok.
@BlackhattAircraft don't what?
@JohnnyBoythePilot thanks!
