Yeah that link that @Nyamomin gave should be up to date and have the basic information you need to get started. One big tip I have is to use prefabricated stuff, for instance the building on my photography map was a free pre textured 3D model.
Thank you, means my ping will be good. Trying it out now.
edit: 146 ping could be better but I'll take it. Prolly an issue on my end being a thousand miles away lol
@UnitedinOne90 it can if there's an error such as not being able to embed the video, since it starts trying to publish as soon as you click the button so if it fails instead of just sending an error message like it would if it failed to upload a plane or something it just doesn't actually publish the video publicly. This could probably happen with forums, but you'd probably have to pull some serious shenanigans like uploading right before the servers go offline or something.
That's not a forum, that's just a video post that isn't set up correctly. Sometimes if you try to upload a video it makes it unlisted first, I don't remember exactly how this works.
@Boeing727200F even if you download it on another places wifi the Virtual Power Nugget doesn't work? Like if you use your phone hotspot to install it onto your device?
@Theinfinite that's the problem right there. The game isn't smart enough to just recognize 3D models as things that the game can use, if that was the case you wouldn't need a computer to mod SP in the first place. Here's a video I made that shows you how to make a mod map, I understand that's not what you're trying to do but this should give you a rough idea of the process that's required. https://www.simpleplanes.com/Videos/View/1918683/SimplePlanes-modding-tutorial
@Graingy in America we drive tractors from the womb!
Only slightly joking. I do recall sitting on a grandparent's lap and steering a tractor at maybe 4 or 5 years old.
When you create a mod it should iirc create two files, a .SPMOD and a .SPMODINFO file. You'll need to upload the SPMODINFO file before it will let you upload or link to the .SPMOD file. It should be in the same file folder as the normal .SPMOD file.
I believe this is to prevent people from uploading mods that they did not create.
Also, aren't you on Android?
@Graingy
1. Yeah it would be impossible for them to trace it back to you based on file alone.
2. When you hit the "start creating mod" button in the mod tools tab.
3. yeah there's a gazillion ways to do it, just find a file hosting service you like and you can link to it.
4. Yeah the f1 means "final release" or something like that, it is the correct version.
@GuyWhoBuildStuff excellent. It will say f1 at the end, I believe.
32's Definitely Legal racing Fuel would be glad to sponsor you.
I even sponsored someone else already!
If not yourself, can you at least bring these images back from the dead?
@HNL47 very smart way of doing that
Needs the file extension at the end.
@GuyWhoBuildStuff if you have any specific questions just let me know

@SupremeDorian you mean to tell me they gave you early access?
@SupremeDorian 🫨

Ok should work now.

Ok just kidding but Optimum Tech and Habie17 are my top 2.
Woah there spoilers
@LowQualityRepublic wasn't just you, was everyone in the comments really
this thumbnail
this thumbnail is actually my Lock Screen on my laptop
this is one of the first ones I did, looks cool but kinda dark
@WisconsinStatePolice gold rank was where it was at
Wonder how feasible it would be to make a track timer as a build. I might have to give it a shot.
Thank you, means my ping will be good. Trying it out now.

Most people here haven't played that game. Try Googling, or Reddit/Discord/Forums relevant to GRB
dang bro I really got fooled by this authentic and meaningful post.
@Someguywhomakesmods idk that's between you and your filesystem, I really can't help with that. Try searching, looking for it in other places
@Graingy that’s what I was going to comment.
Lemme add you to the gc and I'll drop the documents in there

@SILVERPANZER Yeah you stepped up the quality quite a bit since then, great job on the stuff in general
awkward 8 year silence
$.0.20 and 1.5 bags of peanuts
@Someguywhomakesmods mod tools are at this link, for some reason that's a direct download link so when you click on it the files will just download
@Someguywhomakesmods I really don't want to have to get Unity all set up and everything, I'll give you help and advice if needed though.
@Boeing727200F also Edge has a built in VPN that you might wanna try

@Theinfinite wait so you're saying you downloaded a 3d file and then just changed the extension to .spmod and .spinfo?
@Theinfinite what do you mean it doesn't upload? You're going to have to be a bit more specific.
@Theinfinite Ok, explain why it's not working and I'll see if I can help.
it could drive six years ago in some states
Looks really nice. My 3D printer unfortunately broke :(

@Theinfinite ok cool let me know how it goes

@Graingy you got it, it's intimidating but not difficult.
