Ok this is not related to SimplePlanes at all but I can’t help but comment. Memory and Storage are two different things. Memory is all the things that your device needs to keep track of in the moment. Where things are in your game, for instance. Storage is all the data it needs to keep track of in the moment. The game itself is an example. The iphone 12 has 4gb of memory (aka ram). I take it that's a pretty demanding game so it should in theory use lots of ram. Worst case scenario the game crashes.
There was a PlayStation 2 copy.
Otherwise, no. It came out in 2014 on the App Store and then a year later on Steam iirc, well past the point where digital distribution had become the norm for everything but consoles.
You like milsims? Try Gray Zone Warfare, or the Arma games. They’re pretty good especially compared to Roblox games but you need a pretty nice computer to run them (except the newest Arma game, iirc it is available on PS5 and Xbox)
Welcome to SP!
@Graingy @X99STRIKER @THEOKPILOT call it a social experiment. Don’t worry, the pickle will be back, was mainly just curious if anyone would react which seems to have worked lol
As Mr Bacon said it lets you test how the flaps on your wings and stuff move while you’re in the editor. It only seems to work on the default wings though which makes sense because the editor doesn’t have physics simulation enabled
@RepublicofWrightIsles so it’s not creating the file association with the game so that you can load them in the normal way? Have you tried finding your mod folder and manually putting them in there?
Also the large bold text formatting is starting to get irritating lol
Thanks for reminding me about Neocities, been meaning to make my own for a while now but this made me do it.
This is about an hour of work to get all the style and everything done which is an embarrassing amount of time, but here’s a link to it: https://spacepickle.neocities.org/IMG_9412.jpeg
Reminds me I need to update my real website lol
@RepublicofWrightIsles it’s not supported any more, if you’re lucky some maps will work but it’s going to be buggy. Anything that uses scripts won’t work, so mods like Multiplayer aren’t gonna work. If it’s not letting you download any more maps, maybe check your storage. If it’s not letting you activate them within SP that sounds like an SP related bug that may or may not have a solution due to mod support being deprecated years ago.
@imprezamk on iOS it’s because of policies regarding running unsigned code. On Android it’s because mod builds rely on a unity backend that is 32-bit when Android apps are supposed to be 64-bit. They could certainly make mods to be compatible with mobile if they wanted but they’d have to design the game around it from day one. Look at Minecraft for mobile or even the planes on the site, mods definitely do exist for mobile apps the only reason SP doesn’t have it is just because of weirdness with app stores and this being a ten year old game.
@Superliner350 with the way the game is made this isn’t currently possible stuff like Unity dependencies are incompatible or against TOS for both Apple and Android. With SP2 maybe we’ll luck out
@Trainz448 waiting until you’re 20 to drive is wild my guy, like you’re a grown adult at this point. You could go to war, you could own a gun, or you could vote for the next president and your parents couldn’t legally stop you (technically all of those except the voting one it’s different if you live with them as they can incentivize you not doing those things) yet they’re not letting you drive a car? I mean you say you’re autistic but let’s be real here how much is gonna change in two years? Also if you start at 20 you’re going to be sent off in the world with far less experience than others, potentially putting yourself or others in danger when it’s time for you to drive yourself around like the adult that you are.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover just gotta practice basic internet safety. Even the SP site can have these harmful ads, it’s better to learn how to protect yourself online. For if you find a download link and you’re not sure it’s legit go to https://virustotal.com and it will let you scan links or files to see if they contain malware. It essentially runs the link or file through a bunch of different antivirus programs. It’s not perfect but chances are if someone has a virus that wouldn’t trigger these kinds of safety checks they aren’t going to be blowing it on Google ads. Just only go on legitimate websites and don’t click download on anything unless it’s legit. https://reshade.me is safe.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover what probably happened is you clicked one of those scummy “download now” ads. If you find the actual “download Reshade” button it won’t give you a virus.
Live mirroring, aka symmetry mode would be super nice, perhaps along vertical and radial modes where you can customize the angle the stuff is at. Maybe the ability to easily exclude parts from this or lock and unlock this would be nice. Ctrl+M is super helpful though, I use it all the time.
@M109simp it was here
I think I used the second mediaflare link
This is not why Al Gore invented the internet
@ShinyGemsBro could you maybe perhaps tag me as well? I found the T-80b ones but not the U ones.

@Wisetank Reshade, it’s third party post processing and it’s only available on PC. I made a tutorial you can find in my bio.
Looks really good! Looks even better in SP2 though 😉

@RepublicofWrightIsles so it’s just not letting you download them? Sounds like you ran out of space.
Actually pretty cool. I’ve had a website that I really need to update, there’s a link in my bio I think

You play on Android bub
John Wick and maybe the Simpsons.
@TriStar yeah but still it’s a second language for most which is pretty wild.

@AeroTactical I politely decline the opportunity to elaborate
@Graingy he tagged a bunch of people but he tagged more than 3, so I tagged the ones that wouldn’t get a notification.
