So i got a new PC
Im new to all of this.
It's not the highest performing though and I'm pretty sure my cellphone has a bit more processing power than it because we were on a budget. If I wanted it to peeform better and take higher part crafts, what should I save up for first?
@Icey21 you have an AM4 motherboard, so you can install any AM4 AMD processor supported by the motherboard's firmware and any ram combination supported by the firmware. A GeForce 1650 is also rediculously cheap on eBay, going for under 100 USD on average
Could you link to the exact PC you have?
CPU is the biggest thing that matters for SP. RAM is a close second. You can get 32gigabytes of DDR4 (the ram used for your specific motherboard/cpu platform) for about 70 bucks, while for CPUs you should save for something like a 5800x as raw clock speed is the biggest thing that matters here. I probably wouldn’t upgrade my GPU yet if SP runs ok on simple things, it’s kind of a potato game and even Reshade takes very little performance overhead. In general I can load up a simple plane and a complex one and my CPU utilization will spike but my GPU utilization will remain steady.
This stuff is probably a bit more in my wheelhouse than most other users on this site.
Not sure if I can but the info is appreciated @32 :D
@Icey21 🙏💀
@TheFlightGuySP
@ZFold7
Got a Ryzen 2nd Gen processor, ASUS A520M-K motherboard, and my ram is like 4GB and my videocard around 2GB I think
Ram and hard drive. That's all you need.
Give me specfication
mmm a hot chocolate
If you want the most performance for the least amount of money, I'd suggest looking for something second hand, but if you wanna save up, I suggest you give [PCPartPicker] a go and figure out how much you wanna spend on what
Awesome! What're the specs?
No clue, but a new pc is pretty neat!
just use whatever seems to have more processing power
