[ Sorella Leontine ]

Formerly Makarellia Royal Navy's Spazia-class Heavy Cruiser, Spirito Della Signora rehauled her entire structure and replaced many subsystems, all of her large 181mm cannons was ditched in favor of one larger, more well-protected, and certainly heavier 305mm gunturret salvaged from an unknown naval battleship, she also donned a Harpoon Launcher converted from a 152mm turret for reeling in or tethering airships if needed, her multiple engines are replaced by a terrifyingly silent large contra-rotating ducted fan and she is also equipped with a miniature Arbalest Reactor to if she needs to propel herself upwards rapidly, Sorella Leontine became the Spirito Della Signora's Task Force Flagship, being the third biggest ship in possession of the SDS after Sorella Theresa and Herr Izhasnaya.

the story I made was based on @Minichiisan's comment below, after I had asked if I can implement Sorella Leontine to my Dieselpunk-inspired world.

Sorella Leontine is a former Abderiana-class Heavy cruiser Airship that is operated by the Tanchovian Navy, SDS(Spirito Della Signora) Privateer group essentially rehauled her to be faster, hit harder, and be silent too thanks to the ducted fan, she's relatively weaker though, as direct engagement was not her main duty, beside the main gun and the harpoon launcher, she's practically defenseless, the improved cargo space and range was the main reason for this, but do what you will with it, cheers 🍻

he also explained what SDS is and their mission essentially, and I do want to implement them also to my world, for now, it is still on writing.

a refurbished airship, originally a part of @Tsuchiisan's Airship targets, removing the original target engines and installing my derivation of Modular Airship Engine that was originally his idea

{ A testbed for further purpose }

this(the engine that powers the Airship afloat) is the culmination of a few months of work, the idea is originally concepted by @Minichiisan(or Tsuchiisan, as I know him through the comment section of a manga site) for his airships, i'm actually a fan of his target airships, Sorella Leontine being one of my favorite along with the little Youkè, I had actually inquired about his version of the Modular Airship Engine that he previously made but it was lost along with his account, he did however told me how he built it, and with the little knowledge I have with FT, I essentially did recreate his idea, and executed it rather well according to him, with the last little hurdle being the PID input for the minimum altitude restriction, I tried searching for PID input for a while, even though it was usually craft specific, so for the past month I had tried and none seem to hit the mark, I reverted the code back to the original one which was PID(10,AltitudeAgl,0.08,0,0.06) which
actually worked best out of all the ones I tried implementing, it was not until the past week that it occurred to me I was looking at the wrong thing altogether, it was not the code that didn't work, the engine part itself was the one that didn't work, the problems were the max value in the input, which then i changed to 0.1 instead of 1 and after a few trial and little errors it worked rather flawlessly, so now I will list the few people that helped me along with this project, directly and indirectly.

• @Minichiisan(Tsuchiisan), for his original concept, guiding me with the steps necessary, and testing the first prototypes, many thanks goes without saying.
