Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation

Auto Credit Based on BaconAircraft's [Finished] Airliner Challenge

This is the scaled Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation! My most proud build yet!

Trans World Airlines because it’s my favorite airline.

Activation Group 8 for landing lights, VTOL down for flaps, 40% Throttle on takeoff.

Also gotta love that exhaust and scaled beacon lights!

This is the Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation. It’s a famous aircraft, more famous than you. Produced between 1951 to 1958, 579 of these beauties were made. 320 belonged to the military, and they were the first to come off the line. This was due to complete satisfaction from the U.S. Military. After all these models were made, commercial use for them began to take place. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Why 3 rudders? Well, if it were to have 1 singular rudder, it could not fit in any hangars. That’s my favorite feature about this aircraft.

Great plane, my only complaint is that the thrust and throttle seem unrealistic.

I love the flames out the engines. When I saw one fly over, the fire spitting engines really grabbed my attention, aside from the magnificent roar from the engines.
