AG1 - A.L.F.R.E.D (Aeroflight Laser Fitted Reciprocating Energy Device) vertical take off and landing assist. VTOL for vertical thrust.
AG2 - Forward thrust, throttle.
AG3 - Targeting and weapons system features G.U.A.N.O. (Guided Universal Area Nullification Operation) which is capable of tracking and targeting ground/air threats within a 10 mile and 360 degree radius.
AG4 - Emergency parachute.
Brake - Air brake and slight reverse thrust.
For vertical takeoff set vtol to a little above +50% or higher and engage AG1 for A.L.F.R.E.D. assist takeoff. Throttle up and engage AG2 while disengaging AG1 for full forward flight control.
Reverse process for landing.
I've found that around +50% is an appropriate decent rate.
Play around with VTOL slider around that mark for appropriate climb/decent rate for current approach.
Horizontal takeoff is possible but it requires a quick boost from A.L.F.R.E.D in order to clear the runway.
The craft also has some hydrophobic properties and is able to take off from and land on the water. Use A.L.F.R.E.D at full power to clear the water.
