ABOUT THIS PLANE:

As there is still no news for the next Ace Combat installment, I have made a fan art of how Ace Combat 8 might be, based on the cover art of Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere, featuring a YF-23 design with a closed cockpit, as with all the other Aircraft featured in Ace Combat 3. This plane is based on the F-23S Gray Phantom and uses both Gyro and Fly-By-Wire Control.

My fan concept story delves into the early years of the Darkness Of Enigma (DOE) Program, a secret project of General Resource in which Rena Hirose was the test subject, where a sole aircraft was designed as a basis for the Opto-Neuron System of Rena. That experimental aircraft was the F-23D Nightingale, and it was only flown by Rena. The plane demonstrated the effectiveness and dangers of the Opto-Neuron System to its Pilot as it went on to classified missions for the field test of the Opto-Neuron System.

AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION:

A large stealth fighter produced by General Resource from the YF-23 design, solely designed to be flown by the prodigy Rena Hirose. Its cockpit and avionics features the Opto-Neuron System, intended to protect Rena and maximize her potential in flying. It now has a foldable tail wing designed to handle high speeds while enhancing its stealth profile, making it ideal for preemptive strikes, and together with its 2D Thrust Vector Nozzles and wing tip airbrakes, it is now capable of giving Rena the freedom of movement she desires as she flies in the air.

• Max TakeOff Weight at 85,000 lbs, if exceeded Landing Gears will start to vibrate so you have to adjust their weight manually

• On Refueling,
  Set Throttle to 10%, Activate AG4, and Brake if Necessary.
• On Landing,
  Set Throttle to < 10%, Reduce Airspeed to < 300 mph, Glide Until touchdown, and Brake if Necessary.
