I think this is the best T-4 on the site
Description:
The Sukhoi T-4 (Su-100) was a Soviet hypersonic missile carrier built specifically for the X-45 “Lightning” missile system. Only one aircraft was completed, Article 101, which sits in Monino today next to its big brother, the Myasishchev M-50, and it’s cousin, the Tupolev Tu-144. Article 102 was complete by the time of cancellation in 1975, and article 103 was more or less done. Both, however, were scrapped following the cancellation of the project. The aircraft featured many breakthrough technologies; over 600 were invented specifically for this aircraft, like fly-by-wire systems, and an auto-balancing fuel tank system. Article 101 flew a total of 19 times, reaching only Mach 1.93, though if put into production it would have been able to cruise close to Mach 3 at around 70,000 feet, or 30 Km. Contrary to popular belief, the aircraft was not actually a response to the American XB-70, but to the realization of their lack of suitable anti-naval missile systems during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Eventually, the project did turn to the XB-70 as a competitor, but that project was won by Tupolev’s Tu-160. I’m incredibly proud of this aircraft, and I think it’s one of my best.
Controls:
Act.1-Lower the nose (only lowers below 450mph)
Act.2-Deceleration parachutes.
Act.3-fold landing gear

Warning:
Due to an error with SimplePlanes’ calculation of mass, landing without the missiles may cause the aircraft’s landing gear to explode on impact.

@asteroidbook345 hmm nice bomber could come in handy if I can revive the SPRP server
Is this just the Soviet XB-70

@asteroidbook345 take the wings apart and figure it out, it’s called the triangle technique and it’s the only way to make nice tapering thickness wings. It requires patience and finesse, carefully angling the tapering triangle to align with other parts. I use the same techniques as Bog.
Well, it’s not exactly a beautiful jet...more like if someone told Pavlev Sukhoi, “Comrade! Take the most beautiful aircraft ever flown, the XB-70 Valkyrie of the Capitalist Empire of the United States of Amerika, and make it brutally simple!” This is a good rendition...a few critiques that some, such as everything @BogdanX, said already, but mostly minor things with the build itself. Flying wise, I’m glad you went with realistic, though a little more drag reduction would have helped things. Boy, it lands fast and it wants to float! Speedbrakes activated by “GearDown” would help with the realism there a little. But it flies plausibly well. But why did you reverse the trim?!?! In RL, pushing up or forward on the trim switch or trim wheel gives you nose down trim, not nose up! But overall, nice build.
Just perfect . The most beautiful T4 off SimplePlane . Great screens . Hat down , artist .
@asteroidbook345 he he, I'm actually working on a MiG-31 now...
I'm also into high speed Russian planes BTW lol. I'm working on a MiG-31
@asteroidbook345 lol
@asteroidbook345 amazing aircraft!
A few weeks ago I was wondering how no one made a good replica of this aircraft. You did an amazing job! Keep it up!
Sideways visibility: no
This is a really cool plane I never knew existed
I love it! It’s was very fun working with you on this aircraft.
PS: some credit for the missiles would be awesome!
Sorry, sometimes things break when uploaded. So I had assumed that’s what it was! Lol @asteroidbook345
No it’s my fault, I was wondering how you made it work like that. I forgot to read controls
Hey when I retract the gear the gear does not rotate? @asteroidbook345
