The Star battlecrusier Valoran is the first startship of Valoran Class, it carries up to 24 High-Energy Laser, which allow Valoran to cut thought small ship such as cruiser or destoryer. However the advantage on Valoran Class then others is it carry the Warp engine and has the ability to travellel in hyperspace, which is only possible to be carried by a larger ship like Titan in the pass. This allow Valoran Class to effect the battle or even the war on a strategy map. Yep the gun emplacement is kind of like Yamato and battlecruiser have very specific job, heavy cruisers are unable to carry warp engine which means they can only follow the battleship, which are heavy armored. Battleship is only designed for battle and carry way less supplies then BC, so it have to get resuplies from base or planets right after a battle. @ThomasRoderick
