About the Hampden

The Handley Page Hampden is a medium bomber with a total crew of 4 (pilot, navigator/bomb aimer, radio operator/dorsal gunner, and ventral gunner) It was manufactured by Handley Page (UK) and served in the early stages of the Second World War. It took part in the first night raid on Berlin. The Hampden is both fast and maneuverable. You can therefore call it a "fighting bomber". It's main use was nightbombing. There were a total of 1,430 built, and they were retired from RAF bomber command in 1942. There are no flightworthy models left, unfortunately.

@CaptSlow127 Thank you SO much! Many don't realise how much research that has to be done to make something this detailed. I'm happy that i got most of it right!

This is a fantastic plane, the attention to detail is unbelievable! I work at a museum and we have a Wellington Bomber (to my knowledge the only complete one left) and so I certainly know my way round RAF bombers and I have to say this is just perfect. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with.

@Noob2020 I'm not sure why that is. If you havent watched the tutorial i would recommend it. If you follow those steps it will work. Make sure that both magnetos and fuelcocks are on. The right magneto and fuelcock lever will make the right engine ready for startup

@Kroixo I can’t get the left engine to start. I can get the right one to start but not the left
