[CLOSED] Swing Wing Challenge

5,392 downloads

For this challenge, your goal is to build an aircraft with variable-sweep (or "swing") wings. You can build a replica, or something completely fictional if you want. No limits on type, role, or era. As long as the wings swing, it counts.

Rules

  • Minimum 200 parts. Anything under 200 parts will be immediately disqualified.
  • Maximum 1000 parts. Anything over 1000 parts will have one point deducted for every 5 additional parts, but will not be disqualified.
  • No mod parts.
  • Maximum of three entries per person.
  • Must be a successor. If it isn't a successor, ask a moderator to make it one.

I looked through the planes and was disappointed to not see any Grumman f-14 tomcat replicas from Top Gun: Maverick, I would make one but I'm to lazy and I only have my phone :P

@GhostHTX Sure! Just tag a moderator in its comments and ask them to make it a successor to this challenge, and that should all be good.

Hi! I have a model that I started building about a year ago - just uploaded it now -

    https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/4Yx5U0/BAE-Broadsword-FGR-1

Can I enter it into the competition? It isnt a successor, but I really didnt want to start messing around with cockpits etc, since it is around 700 parts (many of them moving). Please?

@ZeroRaven87 Basically post a plane (that meets the rules) as a successor to this post.
