So, it's been a while since I last posted a build onto this website, and this is the reason why. I present to you my fan designed Mandator V Class Siege Dreadnought for Star Wars.

If any of you have seen the Mandator IV from Star Wars The Last Jedi, you would know that ship is not exactly a visually appealing ship nor does it seem to be particularly threatening. As a result, I decided to go on a bit of an ego trip and set out to design something that not only looked menacing, but had the firepower to back it up.

Because this is my first time attempting a build like this, I recognize that there is definitely room for improvement, especially on part efficiency and what should and should not be included on the model. I hope to at least address, if not completely solve these issues the next time I make a Star Wars capital ship in SimplePlanes.

Weapons: Because of my less than stellar prioritization of parts, only a fraction of the weapons emplacements you see on the dreadnought are functional in the game. The only functional weapons are the two massive cannons on the underside of the ship, and the six-barreled turrets that you see scattered around the ship. The dual and quad barrel emplacements are just for show and are not functional.

Handling: This is another thing I hope to solve on the next Star Wars build, it does not handle well and can be quite tricky to fly. For that I apologize. Here are the controls.

Controls:
Ag8 (Activate Lift Engine), VTOL Slider is the throttle for this engine.
Ag7: Activate Pitch, Roll, Yaw, Forward and Reverse Controls.

Ag3: Activate Centerline Main Turrets (VTOL and Trim control traverse and elevation)
Ag2: Activate Wing Main Turrets (VTOL and Trim control traverse and elevation).
Ag1: Activate Orbital Autocannons (Trim to depress the guns down).
