USS Robert Neller (DDG-996)

Guided Missile Destroyer

Another pre-description note: The first build I ever uploaded to this website was a noob destroyer named USS Robert Neller (DDG-996). It was crudely made and modeled poorly after the USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51). After almost 4 years, I have chosen to rebuild this ship as a testament to how one can improve their skill through perseverance and time. This is the original ship if you want to see just how bad I was back then.

General Description

WARNING: NOT VERY MOBILE FRIENDLY
The USS Robert Neller guided missile destroyer is the first of its class of DDG, with a carrying capacity of 126 VLS tubes, 855 rounds of 155mm NATO artillery shells of varying types, and an assortment of other weapons. Inspired by the USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51), you will find such features as a single turret in front accompanied by two CIWS systems at the bow and stern of the ship, as well as the same hull length:width ratio of 7:1. This ship has a maximum speed of approximately 37 knots.

Controls

Activation Groups

AG-1: Activate the 155mm turret
AG2: Activate Starboardside torpedo tubes
AG3: Activate Portside torpedo tubes
AG-4 and 5: No set control
AG-6 and 7: Activate automated CIWS systems

Controls

Throttle: Forward movement
Yaw: Rudder
Roll: Turret traverse
Trim: Turret elevation
VTOL: Torpedo tube control
Air-to-Air: Activate SAM VLS
Air-to-Ground: Activate Cruise Missile VLS

AND YES, THE FLIGHT DECK WORKS AND YOU CAN LAND A HELICOPTER OR VTOL AIRCRAFT ON IT

Again, thank you guys for bothering to click on this post. Enjoy!!

    @SpartanBallistics Well.
That's where I heard it from then...
I don't care what happened in the past, as long as you've improved.

@G2 I used to spam the forums a lot and pirated the game, and other stuff. Not proud of myself.
