The IA-58 Pucará (in Quechua , "fortress") is a turboprop ground attack aircraft built for the Argentine Air Force by the Military Aircraft Factory in the 1970s to fight the guerrillas. 1 2
He entered combat in Operation Independence against the People's Revolutionary Army and in the Falklands War against Task Force 317 in close air support missions . He also participated in the counterinsurgency fight for the Colombian Air Force and for the Sri Lankan Air Force .
The name Pucará is related to the fortifications of the Quechua Indians, who were called that way and because of the large amount of weapons that can be loaded, including machine guns, cannons, the three attachments for external weapons (2 × on the wings and 1 × under the fuselage), air-to-ground missiles , napalm bombs , ventral tanks, etc.

@ISSgaleon eso se relacionaría con el estereotipo argentino, pero conozco gente de ese pais que sabe bastante de argentina.
Por algún motivo Argentina no existe para Reino Unido , quizás se deba a que solamente hablamos chistoso o bebemos mate. Un momento... ya sé , las guerras, si, debe ser eso. La mayoría de las veces nos mantuvimos neutrales comiendo asado en el patio trasero que agujereando cabezas.
