Introduction:
The République-class Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carrier (CVN) is a 1,015-foot long (309.4 meters) vessel. It is powered by four Areva XY-A PWRs, 200 MWt each. The carrier can carry 75+ aircraft, depending on the air wing composition.

Propulsion and Powerplants:
République has a nuclear-steam propulsion system. Her four Areva XY-A reactors feed steam to the four geared steam turbines, which drive the four screws, and the steam generators. The ship also has eight multifuel gas turbine generators. She has a top speed of 31 knots.

Aviation Facilities:
The carrier has a total of four Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching Systems (EMALS), with two full-size units and two shortened units. There are three elevators, although the port (left) elevator is not used when the angled landing deck is actively being used to recover aircraft. The ship also has a large aircraft control center, where the operators are assisted by an AI to allow them to simultaneously handle several squadrons of aircraft.

Weapon Systems:
République has seven Archrysal Lyre Block II CoGM (Combined Gun-Missile) CIWS (Close-In Weapon Systems) and eight 8-cell Sylver IV VLS (Vertical Launching System, which are typically equipped with Aster 30 missiles.

Processing Systems:
The ship carries the DRBJ 11 B tridimensional air search radar, DRBV 26D air search radar, DRBV 15C low altitude air search radar, Arabel target acquisition radar.

Decoy and Countermeasures Systems:
The ship has the ARBR 21 Detector, ARBB 33 Countermeasures suite, ARBG2 MAIGRET Interceptor, as well as 4 × Sagaie decoys launcher and SLAT (Système de lutte anti-torpille) torpedo countermeasures.

Controls:
AG1 - Activate STARBOARD Archrysal Lyre II CIWS (VTOL + TRIM to control);
AG2 - Activate PORT Archrysal Lyre II CIWS (VTOL + TRIM to control);
AG3 - Activate Superstructure-mounted Archrysal Lyre II CIWS (VTOL + TRIM to control);
AG4 - Activate STARBOARD Vertical Launching System modules;
AG5 - Activate PORT Vertical Launching System modules;
AG6 - N/A
AG7 - Activate Deck Lights;
AG8- N/A

Throttle and yaw for movement.

Cost:
~$8.5 billion per vessel.

What Makes This Different From My Other Carriers:
To begin, all the weapon systems are actually nudged into place; there’s no unnecessary gaps. Second, the weapon systems have had their traverse limited to prevent them from accidentally shooting the ship. Third, I actually added all the necessary aviation handling components (catapults, arresting wires, and the landing aid thingy). The deck markings are also unique this time in that I did not scaled rotators to make the dashed lines; I manually placed each one of the lines where it needed to be.

Notes:
-This is probably not to scale;
-This is (obviously) inspired by the Charles de Gaulle of the French Navy;
-This thing’s handling is probably not accurate to what it would be IRL.
-Has anyone actually built a replica of the CDG and uploaded it to the website yet?
-Credit to Pilotmario for the landing assist thingy
