@IlikeToFlyandcrash The animals you listed could pretty much be added to the original game as a patch or mod.
Mojang is already expanding the number of mobs in the game with each patch so if Minecraft 2 would solely be based on bigger amount of animals, I think that wouldn't satisfy too many people. But the other two ideas are pretty good. A higher number of explorable worlds would really spice things up. As for the vehicles, that's a great idea if we think behind it: The original game's setting is pretty much a medieval fantasy setting (that's why they aren't adding modern stuff to it)
So the next game could maybe have a different setting. A modern one, where instead of villages with villager mobs, there would be cities with citizen mobs, using all kinds of vehicles and stuff. Redstone would be replaced with actual electricity etc.
But there could be other settings that MC2 could have: ancient times, 18th century, early-mid 20th century, futuristic, post-apocalyptic etc.
So this is a good approach for imporvements that would make the new game feel fresh.
@BMilan the original Minecraft is good but lacking in some places,
For instance, it has only three worlds on survival. (The spawning world; the Ender world: and the neather world;)
Suggestions,,,
Vehicles, that move cars, planes, big cities (in small numbers).
More animals, elephants, snakes poisonous, tame monkeys!
More fish, whales, sharks, dolphins, underwater volcanos!
And what about over world Volcanoes!

Putting memes aside, this actually made me wondering from a game developer pointo of view. If Mojang made a Minecraft 2, what kind of improvements, new ideas could they possibly put into it, that original doesn't/couldn't have, to make it new and fresh? The original game's almost full potential has been exploited throughout the recent years by updates, mods, etc. so Minecraft 2 would have to take a huge turn to bring something new, imo.
We must NOT play it after the raid.
Its place is in a museum.
