The Daihatsu Midget II is a ute body style car with a mid mounted engine supplying power to the rear wheels.
It is part of Daihatsu's K100P range of cars.
Power is supplied by a single overhead camshaft, 0.7 litre naturally aspirated 3 cylinder motor, with 2 valves per cylinder that produces power and torque figures of 30.5 bhp (30.9 PS/22.7 kW) at 4900 rpm and 50 N·m (37 lb·ft/5.1 kgm) at 3200 rpm respectively.
This power is delivered to the wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox.
