RJ-Bugatti F100 9.0

This is not a replica

Introduction

So I have always liked the look of the Bugatti 100P but it had some foibles that where appropriate for a racer but not a production fighter (of course it was designed as a racer not a fighter so this is understandable).

In this guise I worked along the premise that Bugatti was employed to create a fighter for the French airforce prior to the war breaking out, using him experience with the 100P it was decided to scale it up, replace the twin engines with a single RR Merlin, alter the complicated cooling system for a more conventional system and move the cockpit/seating position up to allow for a better field of view for the pilots.

In my build i utilised a main undercarriage similar to that found on a Bearcat along with a ventral radiator similar to a Mustang.

This was by far the hardest camo scheme i have ever made, the wing itself has utilised the triangle method to get it to taper from the root to the tip, this means that my usula camo method wont work as you get to points where the camo meets an acute angle... Not to mention the panelling of the pattern at the rear where each yellow strip on the fuselage requires 4 triangles to work, it was a challenging build.

Some features

Custom retractable main undercarriage (using the overlay method)
Custom camo including roundels (with more triangles than i want to think of)
Tapered main wing
Pilots head (also moves with pitch and roll)
AG1 to start your engine.

Oh, i understand that! I didn’t mean to be demanding, but i def understand u need time for yourself and it needs to be planned, also i apologize in advance, i didn’t use the 2 tone because it wasn’t uploaded for a while, so i just went at worked on the corsair, and after i added a lot of details it was up and i couldn’t really use it, but thanks for letting me know all of that! @RamboJutter

@LoafOfBread its fine im just confused as to what you want from me, the first message said look at my stuka but then you sent me a link to a corsair and now you are saying you wanted me to look at your yak? I did the 2 tone on your corsair but proper camo takes time and planning. As I mentioned on your corsair the parts need altering to be 0 mass and drag so when you duplicate to form the 2 tone to start with it doesn't double weight and drag. After that you need to build the parts in a way that let's you panel on them, flat sections work best so the less awkward the shape the more benefit you get from the camo shapes. In essence you can't just build something and then go ,"im going to put camo on this" it has to be planned. See my camo guide here if you want ideas. Don't get me wrong, im trying to help but I only have so many hours in a day to do anything myself.

Beautiful plane, the camouflage is superb, personally, I would have made a cockpit longer, and less chunky.

That camo pattern is amazing, but with that camera movement inside the cockpit, it’s nearly impossible to dogfight in this thing, and landing is really difficult in first person.

Also i dont like the cam in cockpit moving cus when landinging its impossible to see the ground
