SimplePlanes News:

• SimpleRockets2 will be released on mobile devices sometime next month. There are liable to be some delays, but it is beyond exciting to finally get a projected date for the game.
• SimplePlanes turned 5 years old this past week! In honor of this, I will be recapping SimplePlanes history in next week’s edition. And good lord knows there is a lot of history here.

Teaser of the Week:

Being has shown us his “giant space warship”, and it does look impressive. Very reminiscent of Sanctuary II, but unique in its own right.

Auto aiming turret v2, by Minecraftpoweer:

Although I don’t fully understand how this works, the work here is apparent. My only critique is that you could have put it on a different plane with a little more lifting power, like the Wasp or Pigpen. But other than that this is a really cool invention.

F-86-30 “SkyBlazers”, by FreeRangedLemon

Absolutely stunning. The shape is perfect, the colors are good, and the lettering is beautiful. As for performance, there are some issues with ailerons, which are stuck to the fuselage wings. This negatively effects the overall maneuvering of the plane. There’s a fixed version from another user, but this really should have nene caught before it was uploaded. Besides that, great plane.

F/A-87 Filibuster, by Leehopard:

It’s not often I get to review one of the best planes I’ve ever seen, but today is one of those days. This plane is a 10/10 in all categories. It looks gorgeous, from the fuselage to the weapon pods and the inlets. It performs great, with realistic handling and enough armament to light up the entire map. It has an afterburner, airbrakes, thrust vectoring, wing folding, wing tilting, arresting hook, the list goes on and on. Whatever could ever go on a plane, this plane has it. Leehopard has made some really good stuff, but this blows all of them out of the sky.

Mmdben, a silver user with only 3 months of experience, sits down with Awsomur to discuss his rapid success and what’s he’s working on now.

You’ve been here for two months and have already gotten silver rank with your excellent creations. Does building come naturally to you, or do you struggle with it?
About 70% of the building comes natural because I played other designer games (besiege-I'm not that good in it- and KPS), if you inspect my builds you will see a lot of unnecessary small parts,just thank besiege building style for it.but in SP If I can't make a certain shape, I just inspected the top builds to see and learn the ways they were made.

You recently made an amazing X-2 that way surpasses your other planes. What do you think made this plane so great?
I think it surpassed my other Build because :-
1- come on I made the XD-3 the third or the fourth day after I bought the
game, it doesn't look great, also the XD-5 I made with the knowledge of
12 hours playtime so it is an ugly design but it flied. so they aren't that
good compared To a plane I made with new skill I learned when I made an
account.
2-Made it easy to take off and land in VTOl:- most VTOLs are easy to
take off but hard to land since you need to kill all of its speed, So I aimed
at making the landing as easy as it could by making a stupidly strong
landing gear suspension.
3-Added weapons ...........There is a lot of perfect replicas of non-
weaponized planes but no one spend more than 5 minutes playing with it
most of the time
So I added weapons to make it more enjoyable to fly.
4- Eternal darkness custom wings, XD.

What’s in store for you now? What’re you working on next?
I'm working on a Tailsitter (XFY-1pogo) It's about 85% done,it's taking me so long to finish it because making a tailsitter fly is easy,but making it easy to land is just pure pain, and -Teaser Teaser- it will have a lot of surprises and secrets.

As a new user, what would you like to say to the more veteran players?
Please make more tutorials and don't delete them-ehhhm ehhhm Bogdanx ehhhm ehhhm-,also please share more information with the low users.
