Nice GA Challenge you got there, @EternalDarkness..... It would be a real shame if I were to crash it.

STILL WORK IN PROGRESS

  • About 1400 parts, expect an additional 300+.
  • Livery is still work in progress. Additional curvy lines and italicized tail number will be put in.
  • Runs 50fps on most mid-high end devices (discrete GPU, quad core CPU) on high physics
  • Not nearly as laggy as airliners with half the parts
  • I may be stupid, but I ain't an idiot. I can read. I will be submitting the potato friendly 900 part version for the challenge.
  • The Cessna 172 is superior. Fite me @BogdanX
  • Quite realistic performance in terms of climb rate, stall speed, takeoff roll, sink rate, glide ratio, etc. According to @MrSilverwolf, who flies a 172H.
  • Working garmin g1000 glass cockpit.
  • Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself.

@BaconAircraft aw man that looks awesome, that cockpit should be posyed all by itself, actually it should be included for everyone in the challenge to use (then we will all be at 1000 parts exactly) =)

It looks absolutely stunning. Maybe remove the exterior details like paint scheme and ribs of control surfaces for performance test version and keep them for public version. I guess they have no mass and drag, and will thus not impact performance. I will judge looks on public version and ask a friend with a more powerful computer to check if performance are the same.

@DeezDucks Yeah. I'll be submitting the potato "friendly" version into the challenge. By potato, i mean 1000 parts on the dot. There's no way i can get away with using the current 1400 part monstrosity.
