This is not a lack-of-attention post. This is not whining or moaning. I’m just explaining what I’m doing.

Hi everyone.
Let me get straight to the point. I’m pretty bored with SimplePlanes at the moment. Not only is the game dead as of SR2, but I honestly don’t enjoy the game anymore. There’s no more to do.
I also received some very disparaging comments in my concern box recently, including one of my favorites:
“I hate you so much you little frick what you think that ur dumb google form is cool hahah you amateur I bet u dont even know that you have to enable account confirmation so stupid dumb idiots like me wont send you crap like this lol you nub”
I know that it’s just a stupid person (using a fake username), but it really does get to me. I’m not a depressed or easily-downed person by any means, but SimplePlanes really isn’t helping right now.
So I’m quitting SimplePlanes.
I won’t be checking the site at all, so please don’t tag me on anything. t’s going off the favorites tab, and I’m deleting my Concern Box.

But don’t think you’ve seen the end of me yet.
The SPW will be reformed into the SimpleRockets Weekly come the game’s launch. (no pun intended) SimpleRockets2 is going to be super fun, and I’ll actually be able to play it since the devs are making it easier to do.
I can’t guarantee how good my rockets will be, but it’ll be fun,

I want to thank everyone that was so nice to me through my 2 1/2 years. I espically want to gives thanks to pavthepilot, StrikeFighter04, DemonSniper8, DisferGoatz and my late friends DarthAbhinav and EpicPigster1 (now the depressed pig).
I also want to thanks the mods, espically TheLatentImage for dealing with me and my presumptuousness in reporting rule violations.
And of course, countless thanks to the developers for making such a fun game. I may be tired of it, but I really did enjoy it for the longest time.

So goodbye for now everyone. My account will stay up with a revised biography and some archival links. I am so looking forward to being an active part of the SR2 community, so don’t be sad for my departure.

Ye man I understand, 10 months ago I also left cause the game was getting boring for me, and I also thought SR2 would take over. Anyway at least we are both back :D @Awsomur
But to be honest I was so fed up with SimplePlanes at that moment. People were being really rude to me and writing the SPW was stressing me out. But when it become clear that SR2 Mobile wasn’t coming out anytime soon, I knew that I needed to keep from fading out.

There won’t be a 1.8, not if SR2 is going as slowly as the devs seem to suggest.

If you are still here to read this, do you ever plan on returning? Once 1.8 comes out, do you think you might return for a while? Just know if that if SR2 ever gets old, you've always got SP to lean back on.
