So you can just "cool" down and "chill..." just kidding I don't know I suggest sp to make the cool down less for every po8nt you have until a certain number where you are just skilled and trusted .. simply to prevent spam and etc and so no one can up vote them self quickly

Build spamming and getting a lot of points fast

What is the point of upvoting a build without even checking it out first?

@RailfanEthan I mean, that's true, but not even the issue here. Handing out upvotes as a reward for a challenge or something is just abusing the system.

@WNP78 is right. You can't base a build just by how it looks. Function is just as important as looks. I test all things I upvote.

Upvotes are designed to show builds that deserve them, that people have put effort into. They are not just a reward to hand out regardless, something to trade. If you actually took the time to download something and test it out before you click upvote, you'd never see a cooldown.

to stop bots and i agree, very annoying like when you see a short but good forum and you upvote it and then Another one and you have to wait for a while. sometimes i even Think that the timer resets when you click upvote Before the cooldown is gone. It may also be because they have to process the upvote like when you upvote too many comments it says something like that.
