This edition is about adding detail to your plane
There are three main types of details, all of which will be covered in this post.
(I will use BogdanX’s A-10 for examples)

Type 1: scaled part details

As you can see in figure 1 the detail on the A-10 is made of scaled fuel tanks. My favorite parts to do details with are: fuel tanks, rotators, small rotators, countermeasure dispensers, pistons and airbrakes

Type two: Fuselage Inlet Details

These quick and easy details can double the number of upvotes on any plane. Just size it and nudge it into the plane. All corner types look great.

Type 3: Custom Fuselage Details

These cool details are a PAIN. They come out looking great but take like four times as long as the other two.

Combine these techniques and you’ll find yourself making a more detailed plane.

    It coul'd be a little help for the custom fuselage details if you got some pre-made detail parts like numbers, lettering etc...

    i have a skull on one of my planes and decals on the inlets... does that count?

    Good tips, i do use some of them but im still pretty bad at details.
