pls bear with me, the spam is annoying

its happening again, a surge of forum posts related to Simple... i don't know. Can we please accept that unless Apple decides to drastically change their policy, mods are not coming to iOS? And seriously, there's no way any mobile device could handle mutliplayer. It'd fry quicker than the chicken on those PopEyes commercials. Imagine running a 5,000 part build on your phone, but triple it. That's what it'd be like, if it doesn't burst into flames before.

The developers are working hard on SR2, and will be for awhile. The next update will come, but you can't rush a small team that is constructing a whole new game to also push out an update. Calm down and be patient, time will come. There's definitely some good ideas (ex EternalDarkness' post about guns) that could be possible, but again, pls no bother devs

i speak for the communtiy, we need spicy builds not spicy forum posts about how a phone can handle coding meant for something with x amount of times more power, aka computer.

.

kthxbye
(humans can talk in the comments to express thoughts, no fights pls)

I can run parts up to about 850, even though my train station build had around 1020 parts, but I think that is because it doesn’t have hinges and or lot of lights @BlueCobraCreations

They could restrict the mods like multiplayer and things that iOS can’t handle, I reckon I could run some small maps and such like smoke trails

The community is an interesting entity. The way it behaves intrigues me.
Despite being told the reality, they continue to live in their own world.
I wonder when will an earthquake wake 'em all up and tell them to stop begging for a new update.
People gotta understand one thing: Jundroo has limited resources. It's not Activision, EA, Valve or any other big game company or whatever so it can't focus on multiple things at once. Technically they can but the end result will be of lower quality.
Is this what you peeps wish for? If not, then go back and play a bit more with what you have, you may easily discover something new.

@Mostly oh yeah iPhones suck but saying iOS on the whole wouldn't be able to handle a certian type of multiplayer is wrong

@MrDoolittle I know the iPads can handle a lot, but as far as phones go, it's pretty much impossible to run builds hat big. And, even though the iPad can handle up to 1000-1100 parts, the android phones closes the gap a lot, handling about 800-900 parts max. That's all I'm saying.

@Mostly thats not true at all. iPad Air 2s can handle up to 1100 parts on low physics and 850 on high

Ethan is right: different devices are different. It’s just because they were made in different times. So maybe Apple’s flagship phone from x-years ago costs more than a modern Android that costs less, but that’s because the technology is getting better and more affordable.

@RailfanEthan Yeah, true. I use an iPhone6 and it does not enjoy anything over 400 parts.

@Mostly kinda depends on the device, i mean you know how i brag about making that big 2k part train in my ipad

@Awsomur I don't use android, actually. So no, it's not biased. It's true fact. Some android devices can handle up to 600-700 parts while many apple devices, con only handle up to 200-300.

It doesn't take much effort to search the forum posts and figure out what people have already said about certain topic. Also what jerks my chain is when people ask for more weapons. SP already has plenty of weapons and a good assortment of weapons. Plus weapons are not the main part of the game. SP is about mostly learning about aerodynamics and aviation physics.

@QingyuZhou An equivalent of overload would be nice and may be doable, but multiplayer = nopenopenope

My phone can handle EpicPigster's 757 at 30 FPS. Depending on what I spawn, I can run anywhere from 6-at least 18 planes in sandbox, smoothly at that.

If mods are unavailable on iOS, then make them to be part of the game

We see that fine tuner is already added in the latest update, so I really hope the devs could add multiplayer and overload as well in the next update.
