The Snowstone Incident Part III
The end is nigh...

NOTE: If you have not read parts I and II I highly recommend you do.

Explosive Effects:
January 26th 2015, 3:46 AM:
Before the intense battle between the Wright-Krakabloa-Maywar (W-K-M) forces and the Snowstone Empire, spies had infiltrated and destroyed the island's defense systems. Only two spies survived the attack, so retrieving them wasn't first on the KB Militia's mind. However, these two spies would win the battle for the W-K-M forces. A Krakabloan scientist had been working on a device to control the Krakabloa Volcano's eruptions. They realized that the SSE fleet would retreat near the volcano for repairs and refuel. So, they found the device and put it in place.
"This is insane, no way this will work" said one spy.
"It's our best chance, so we gotta take it" said the other.
The countdown was activated. After 10 seconds, the device engaged...

A sudden explosive noise filled the island. Sure enough, the device worked. Magma burst out of the now-active volcano. Lava engulfed most of the SSE Air Force and wiped out their ground troops. The W-K-M forces rejoiced! The remaining SSE forces were quickly vanquished, and the island was recaptured.

The Empire Doesn't Strike Back:

A small group of SSE officials managed to escape Krakabloa before their downfall.
The leading general had to deliver the news to the Emporer of Snowstone; personally. He relayed the details of their defeat at Krakabloa. The Emperor was beyond furious.
"You incompetent little slime!" he yelled. With a push of a button, he threw the poor general into a dark abyss.
"My lord, you really must stop killing your military leaders" said a bodyguard.
"SILENCE!" he shouted. "I have devised a new plan".
He looked toward one of his admirals:
"You; lead an attack against the Wright Isles. Leave no survivors.
"Yes sir!" said the admiral. He turned to leave the dark throne room.
"And admiral, you have failed me for the last time" warned the Emperor.
The admiral lead a fleet to the Wright Isles. However, he had no plans of attack.
Over long-range radio, he begged the President of Wright for asylum. The President agreed.
"Thank you for taking in me and my men. We feared for our lives after the Emperor's latest outrage. I have information that will help you defeat him" said the admiral. With this intelligence, and a fleet of SSE ships, the W-K-M forces headed for Snowstone Island.

The Final Battle:
January 27th 2015, 12:15 AM:
The W-K-M forces engage the SSE fleet at Snowstone. A squadron of Desert Raiders attack the missile launchers but fail. One brave pilot crashed his doomed plane into the launchers, but only destroyed one. The Grand Airship decimated the SSE's ground army, the Dead Bear Raiders destroyed the navy, and they all ganged up on the remaining Air Force. The Emperor saw defeat was near, but would not acknowledge it.
"Target their lead ship!" he ordered.
The missile launcher fired its entire payload the the Grand Airship. The Airship's left wing was destroyed, and it barley had engine power. It crash-landed at Avalanche Airport, which W-K-M soldiers were capturing. The last missile launcher was destroyed, and the SSE Air Force was gone. The W-K-M went in to capture the Ice Base, but it self-destructed before they could. Still, the battle was won!

Conclusion:
Wright, Krakabloa and Maywar dissolved their alliance, but swore to support each other in case of another conflict. Snowstone was converted into an outpost for Krakabloa. The Grand Airship was repaired, and the Krakabloa Millita was slowly rebuilding itself. Once again, all was well in the archipelago...

...or so they thought. Deep in the ocean, a submarine carrying the Emperor and the remnants of the SSE headed for another location. Despite its distance from the rest of the islands, the SSE would no doubt rebuild itself; possibly being even stronger than before...
