Today.. I'm talking about the kids that spam wonderful creations from the high-up users. I had an encounter with one.. let's just say he isn't the brightest. Got another kid stealing from me, I commented, reported, laughed about it with a friend on steam for 2 minutes, and it got removed. I asked him about it, he seemed confused, but was more aware. Called me retarded..
Side note - I'm pretty sure a kid that barely knows the rules has more IQ points than me.. okay. That makes sense, right?
I asked him again, gave more detail, and he has yet to respond. Yeah.. I don't knew either.
That's basically what half the people on the website are like.. they take a design completely, they say "its not mine" in hopes of it not getting removed, and tries to defend themselves when it does get removed.
Last note: steal my "personality", act like me all you want, but do not. Steal. MY CHILDREN.

Wow @Himynameiswalrus you're not only wrong about it being better than ever, but he's actually doing good. When an influencial user points out what's wrong, it's often the start of a change. As of right now though, the community IS improving, and isn't as good as it's been in the past(Hypno era and before). But what you're doing is like calling a mayor's speech a rant...

Jelly - oh my goodness HIM!!! Aside of this I think a number of good points are raised rightfully as objections to stealing and then passing off as your own. After all you wouldn't pirate a CD or DVD would you? There are no laws against SP Plane Piracy but when it happens ... It hurts the same as any theft does. Who plays a game and puts time and effort into contributing to it only to end up disillusioned and hurt? Nobody that is who. On all occasions when I borrow I always begin the write-up INSPIRED BY ... or INSPIRED BY THE WORK OF ... to acknowledge the creator of the original making them feel rewarded and not deprived. I also ask permission when it's not a collab build so before writing Inspired By the original creator already knows and expects to see something of theirs coming from my direction. It's part playing fair and part having respect for other SP users. I hope this does not sound like a rant - just the views of a 43 year old who loves playing this game and enjoys interacting with the SP Community :o)
Let me re-write that for you:
9/10 of the community is like that, the other 1/10 is the first fifty-hundred pages
