So the latest Dev blog came out 4 days ago (as of the release of this post) talking about the buildings about the cities and the stuff that will be in SimplePlanes 2, well here are my thoughts on that:
They look pretty good,
bridge collapse and stuff is amazing
but do you wanna know something else there is in SimplePlanes?
Boss Battles
To put it simply In certain parts of the map in SimplePlanes, you can trigger boss fights, and these are often overlooked as of nowadays by most people. And if you are a long time Sp player you might remember most of these (my first time ever playing SimplePlanes was a long long long time ago on my iPad, way before I made my first account in late 2021) and I remember trying to find these bosses in mobile just to find nothing. There are 3 bosses in SimplePlanes 1 And now that SimplePlanes 2 is almost about to release I decided to come back to this and talk about each of the three bosses (and maybe predict if they might come to SimplePlanes 2).
Lets dive in
FYI: none of this is clickbait (what kind of an idiot do you think I am yes I know it’s not CLICKBAIT), they actually exist in-game
Boss 1: The Kraken
The most widely known boss in the game, the Kraken, this giant octopus is one of the bosses that you can encounter in the game where you can enter inside of it and try to kill it from the inside or from outside

Boss 2: Brown Pearl
Made aware of by @SledDriver, this boss is basically just a pirate ship that moves ridiculously high speeds (for a pirate ship) in a snake like maneuver, not only that, but it shoots guided cannon balls at you. @SledDriver made an aircraft specifically made to counter this boss.
FYI: This boss can be found on mobile, in fact it is the only boss that both pc and mobile users can encounter.
Boss 3: The pyramid of ET
Turns out one of the Pyramids in Maywar (mainly the one in the image above) is secretly a boss, discovered by @Inuyasha8215 turns out if you go inside it, and make a location inside the pyramid, before taking off inside the pyramid, you realize you have awoke some ancient spirit. Which is just the pyramid flying off to god knows

where, what you gotta do is shoot the thrusters below the pyramid down causing it to slowly fall down. This is one of the least known bosses In the entire game and stuff like this is what makes the game pretty interesting.
Conclusion
Will SimplePlanes 2 have bosses like the first game?
Idkwill it come in a new update for simpleplanes 2 months or weeks after its steam launch) Maybe, maybe not
Will there be bosses in the mobile version? Yes and no (some bosses may be too big for certain mobile device so I think some of them are left out, like there were for mobile)
Honestly know them or not, I have heard about it and tried finding both the pyramid and the kraken but couldn’t find it (obviously not), I wish mobile players had them but we didn’t and now I just wanna end by saying. This is cool and I wish this stuff carries on to SP2.
Note: I know I’m late on this topic but I honestly don’t care nonetheless.
Edit: the bosses shown here will not be in sp2,
The question is will there be any Bosses in sp2, one that are different from the ones in sp1
If you have any ideas for a sp2 boss let me know
I summon thee
@LunarEclipseSP
@PapaKernels
@crazyplaness
I summon thee to come…
I give up I can’t make a summon spell, but seriously, what are your thoughts?

@GabrielFangster70 I didn’t know that the pyramid was a boss so I was hoping I was more clueless (that came out funny)
@GabrielFangster70 aw man
@Supersoli8 the only mobile boss is brown pearl
Are there any mobile bosses besides those two?
you know what, if i do want to conquer my phobia, i must face it head on, which in simpler terms, go under the ocean in sp2 despite my fears
@GabrielFangster70 fair, but still, i genuinely believe a humongous, scp worthy sea monster of some kind need to exist besides sharks or really any other sea creature, passive or not
well here I learn that the pyramid is a boss, and get nostalgia from hearing about SledDriver again
@YarisSedan but you don’t have to worry if you expect to see to be that deep in the game, you might as well delete all of your other games just to get simple planes 2 (if you get my drift.), other than that, you don’t have to worry.
Wait, never mind. I guess I spoke too soon.
Edit: if you’re afraid of going underwater, it’s all right. All of us are scared of something you know, or at least we are.
@GabrielFangster70 i already have on my dad's ps4, genuinely scary as shit, especially because of my thalasophobia
@YarisSedan I recommend you play subnautica
@YarisSedan a Godzilla boss fight?
i want to see equally unique bossfights/unique encounters too like a ghost ship/train/plane/car that appears very rarely in the game world, whose spawn location and time of spawn is always randomized, meaning that finding one is just a matter of luck, or a giant sea monster that resembles the bloop, always gaping mouth and all (i know it's just a sound, i was referring to those artistic renditions) always guaranteed to spawn near you once you got too deep into the ocean as punishment for being too curious, i know i would most certainly shit my pants since i have thalasophobia, though i would appreciate if you can defeat said sea monster
or even, (and i know this is silly but)
a godzilla inspired andrew garrison bossfight you can trigger after doing comically complex tasks throughout the map to trigger it, with the final one being destroying an ingame 1:1 replica of the jundroo hq, because why not
