Circles have infinite sides. Done. Debate over.

    So squares are actually octagons?

Does this mean that a square has 8 sides?

@Diver how does this refer to an amount of sides? A circle is defined by only one specified line connecting to itself to make a perfect connection.
At that point, it mine as well just be a singular line segment

So, infinite, 1, none, it all is the same
    .
If anything, it is a paradox. An unexplainable variable that cannot change no matter what way you look at it. I like referring to circle/spheres as a simple explanation of what paradoxes are (they always come back to the same spot), and it LITERALLY is one.

I don't like considering Spheres/circles as shapes as they are fundamentals of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dimensions, and maybe even further if the platonic are relative.
Under this point (pun not intended), a circle is a continuous line intersecting. A circle cannot be made unless either an infinite amount of sides connect it, or a single line is able to bend around and connect to itself, like bending the 1st dimension

Inside and outside is not necessarily a "side"
    .
In this stance, are you referring to a side as a flat plane that connects to another one at a point?
Or do you literally mean side as in "dark side, light side?"

Even though that's surface area and not sides...

    a.k.a:
    Circle that is 15cmx15cm is equal to π X 15cm² x 15cm = 3375cm²

    π(r²)(h)
Also: Pi X radius squared X height

But does a curved side count as a side?

Inside the line and outside the line. The line and circle have no thickness, but it still has inside the circle and outside. Like a flat cylinder with no height @RedSpy

@Chancey21 depends, do you consider sides as being a straight line ?
