MOBILE USERS ARE CRIMINALLY UNDERATED

12.6k HNL47  3.8 years ago

So well i'm gonna talk about hiw people build on mobile not deserving enough recognition on the website but talking about this will directly bringing us to the topic about the part count so i'm gonna talk about it too.

The problem with mobile users android or ios users is first we don't have mods which I understand it's not the fault of Jundroo we accept this and we continue to like the game like this at least now we have at least we have the most useful mods integrated as a game feature which is pretty cool.
We accept not having the kraken and maywar we paid less so less game content that's right.
But what we can't accept is not having recognition on the website like a mobile user is obviously a noob and will stay. The point here is actually their building skill is limited in the max part count their device can deal with which is pretty sad.People on the website think that a build with 5000 parts are always far better than the one with 500 parts count just because of the effort the one on pc has made. As someone who reach 10k by building on android I can say you pc users have absolutely no idea how I have to build every fuselage block to not be any kind useless on the build just yo make sure that the results will look cool in the lowest part possible and doing this with an average 20 fps. it's far easy to build on pc , far easy to click the "Add section" blue button, far easy to take wholesome edited screenshots which are eye candy. Some mobile users have the skill of a gold or plats user but their build will still look as the one as silver but more esthetically pleasant a bit than the first one.

People will come and say "Just get a pc and buy sp on it lol" but we are not living the same situation bros. I suspend my account to wait to have a new laptop to build seriously the problem here is not the money no but my location. i'm living africa in a third world country in which amazon does not shipping it's even hard to find a decent laptop with an I-graphic card and anybody don't know how to build pc here.I'm not waiting support from anyone i'm just saying that you can't throw the "just get a....." line to someone and he/she will magically get it in his hand
we don't have the same situation.

Anyway so please pay a bit more attention to mobile users some of them really deserve it

Also, some/most mobile users may not have a job or be getting enough to buy a decent end computer (me) or their parents won’t allow them to (also me)

You're wrong. No one cares what you use. Only quality is important. If you make cool craft on the phone and present it correctly, you will be highly appreciated. If you make a bad craft on PC, you will not be appreciated. It works that way. You do well - you get recognition, you do badly - you get nothing.

    Sorry for using Google Translator

Testers also helped a lot, to get the chance of more people seeing your build.

The only reason that I make weird and interesting builds on this game is because from my experience, when I did make decent planes they got zero recognition. So I made a toilet it got recognition.

I completely agree with this, but the problem I hate the most are the meme posts. Sure, they’re funny and I’ll admit, I upvote them. But statistically, they’re extremely low effort, and tend to score a lot of upvotes, which when you think about it, doesn’t make sense. For instance, I’ll see builds on SP that took quite some time to build, have a lot of parts, and have a lot of time and effort put into them, yet they only get like 10 upvotes, or atleast an amount of upvotes that isn’t proportional to the effort put into the creation. I’ve noticed this a lot with my posts too, to be perfectly honest. The same thing happens with meme posts, but the opposite: someone spends all of five minutes creating something from a meme, and it gets 50+ upvotes in less than a day. In fact, I know this from experience, as I posted a stupid iPhone 11 with way too many cameras on it, and I think it got 40 upvotes in the span of a few hours, whereas when I posted that rubber band glider I was working on for well over a month, I think it has less than 30 upvotes, all of which were achieved within the span of a week.
    ...
Idk, maybe I’m being too serious, maybe I’m being ludicrous. Maybe the only reliable way of scoring points on SimplePlanes is to just spam the website with low-effort meme creations that don’t have any effort put into them.

Bon pas besoin de te parler de moi tu dois savoir comment je fonctionne par Discord, mais par contre je peux témoigner à l'intention des autres

As a mobile user, I can say that some mobile builds don't get as much recognition as if they were made on a PC.
Example : I made a Bell XS-1 that some consider to be the best X-1 of the game. I built it entirely on mobile and it still became kinda famous. But I uploaded two versions of it, and that's where the difference is :
The first version was uploaded from my mobile and got 55 upvotes.
The second one, which differed only with the engine and paint, was uploaded from my PC so I could use upload with screenshots. This one, with a better thumbnail and maybe bc it was labelled as PC, got 104 updoots.
Big difference, right ? I know upvotes aren't a good measurements system but that's quite a proof for me of the difference of treatment between both platforms, at least because mobile users can't use eye-catching, fancy screenshots as their builds' thumbnails.

If you are in the market for a cheaper laptop try to buy a Dell latitude series. I actually prefer building on my phone but finish with my laptop. It would be nice to have more features like integrated in-game screenshots. I dont understand why this hasnt been done but because weve been asking for years and hasnt been granted I assume it is really hard to do.

I used to only be on iOS, and people telling me to get a PC was the most enraging thing in the universe. People sometimes act as if money grows on trees. It’s stupid.

There's something loose between my legs... apart from the obvious. Something flying around my feet. I'd be proud if it was what you think it is, but it's not.

There was a time where my phone melted with 300 parts creations. It’s your job to work around the limits of your device, not others job to give you more recognition because you are on mobile.

As a mobile user, I don’t really agree with this. Some of the best builds I ever seen on this site are 200-300 parts and look really good. Also, I feel personally it’s easier to build on mobile, but that is probably because I been playing sp on phone for five years now. Anyways, that really just depends on who you ask. The only real thing I can tell that puts mobiles behind is the lack of a screenshot feature when uploading creations. Either way, that’s just how it is, and we have work arounds this issue.
