In SimplePlanes, funky trees is a skill you can learn, but aren't forced to. Both require lots of logic and brainpower.
Since it's called funky trees I propose we call its users lumberjacks

A FUNKY CARPENTER
As another person who has limited success in Funky Trees (check my landing gear post), I suggest Funky Foresters.
We don't cut down the tree, we plant them and cultivate them, therefore foresters instead of lumberjacks.
@Random40 something in funky trees just clicked in my head, its the formula for starting an input at a certain speed and maxing it out at another:
clamp01(([a type of speed] - [your minimum speed in meters per second]) / [your maximum])
I used this to make my wings start sweeping at a certain speed and get max sweep at another speed

My goal for the near future is to be a lumberjack. I know a bit of funky trees but my math knowledge is limited so I can’t do anything too fancy. I like the name too.
