You should also watch other videos from that guy's channel on simpleplanes, they really help

@Jacob30x Ah! Here is a great video for you to watch on that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XadzaCZXzB0

  • [CLOSED] Cockpit Challenge - Due: May 31st 2023 2.7 years ago

Some more advice: I suggest, even if you are 100% happy with your aircraft, that you wait until a few days before the due date before publishing it, so that if you have a sudden inspiration or want to make any changes, you can do so easily. Just give me a comment first if you are joining, so I know how many participants to expect roughly.

  • [CLOSED] Cockpit Challenge - Due: May 31st 2023 2.7 years ago

@LunarEclipseSP @Gabriel747 @Shifter @KtaAviation @CR929thenewSPplayer @NoblePlanesLTD And any other person viewing this challenge, THE RULES HAVE CHANGED SLIGHTLY. Only new submissions allowed, no submitting old builds. Submission maximum changed from 2 to 3. Marking Criteria. The description above has been edited to reflect the changes, I suggest you read them again. Apologies, but as I have just posted the challenge today, I am still realising some errors and improving the challenge.

  • [CLOSED] Cockpit Challenge - Due: May 31st 2023 2.7 years ago

@NoblePlanesLTD Hi NoblePlanes, I noticed your 2 submissions are old aircrafts made by you before I posted this challenge. Because I did not put the rule that it must be a 'new aircraft specially made for the challenge' yet, you can choose whether you want to keep the submissions or replace them with new aircrafts (I wont count the original as a submission if so). NOTE: This is only for THESE TWO submissions.

  • Funky Trees! 2.7 years ago

@windshifter1 Also, I believe you failed to mention that all lines of code must be written in between these brackets: {} Anthing written outside of the brackets will just add on as normal text.

  • Funky Trees! 2.7 years ago

Very helpful guide, but there is one error. To access the name of the selected weapon, the code is {SelectedWeapon}, not {SelectedWeaponName} as mentioned in the Inputs section.

@belugasub Ok, I understand completely. mark it whenever you please

  • PILATUS PC-12 2.7 years ago

@SourDoughBread Yes the minimap in the airplane. It switches slides and scrolls out when you leave islands. It is what I have wanted for the entire time I have been playing SimplePlanes, no kidding. I have finally found it in your plane.

  • HELICOPTER CHALLENGE! [50 upvote prize] 2.7 years ago

Hi, just reminding you, you are marking this soon?

  • PILATUS PC-12 2.7 years ago

I LOVE THE MAP, can you make a seperate version so we can use it on our own creations?

My T-33 Shooting Star is done, and I am almost finished with my Fuji T-1 Japanese Trainer AIrcraft - I have used fuselage slicing for a 100% realistic paint job but with no drag and less parts, custom wings for extra realism, a detailed cockpit interior that, like the real plane, seats two, and some extra gizmos and gadgets to finish off. I am just doing the final touches to add the most realism.

  • Cold War Challenge - 50-450 parts (CLOSED) 2.7 years ago

@WinsWings Oops I was thinking of the KI30 light bomber but that flew a little too early! Now I hope to make a Fuji T-1 Japanese fighter plane in addition to my T-33 Shooting Star USAF trainer aircraft. I am glad I heard of this challenge early, I have so many great ideas I want to make a submit, thanks for making this challenge, really inspiring!

@WinsWings Oh OK, so just confirming, we can send in airplanes from any country from that era?

  • Cold War Challenge - 50-450 parts (CLOSED) 2.7 years ago

Must it be specifically airplanes that participated in the cold war, either on USAF or Soviet side, or can it be any warplane from any country that flew during that time?

  • How to stop plane from tilting forward. 2.8 years ago

I have the same issue! In my ww2 prop plane, it keeps tilting down. I can put weight at the back but then the plane can pitch up and down but with no difference in altitude, just fall like a dead weight?

I would like to enter my Static armoured and armed personnel carrier into the competition. Sorry I did not make it as a successor. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/szQjjY/Static-armoured-personnel-carrier

  • SimplePlanes Red Twin Prop 2.8 years ago

@AirJMCAviation Yeah unfortunately they were taken out, even though they have great power and speed. You can save them by downloading my aircraft, and putting the propellors into your subassemblies folder. Then you can use it elsewhere.

  • SimplePlanes Red Twin Prop 2.8 years ago

@Graingy You did plenty thanks, I did not know about the old propellor, and adding has greatly improved my plane. Thanks again

  • SimplePlanes Red Twin Prop 2.8 years ago

@Graingy Thanks very much for the upvote and your feedback on previous post!

  • SimplePlanes Red Twin Prop 2.8 years ago

@Graingy Hooray, I found one. I edited the description above to include a link to the new plane with the old propellor

  • SimplePlanes Red Twin Prop 2.8 years ago

@Graingy Yes, I was looking for that propellor to match the real design but to no avail. How is the resot of the plane though?

I would really appreciate it if realSavageMan could check out my post and give some comments and feedback, maybe even an upvote. Oh, and my sincere apoogies ThatRandomCouchPotato and other mobile users, It lags slightly on my computer, so I doubt it will work for you :(

  • Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor V3.0 2.9 years ago

Great plane, but in real life, the F-22 was so amazing because it achieved very high speeds WITHOUT the afterburner, so maybe you could change it to follow the real plane?

  • Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner 2.9 years ago

@ThatRandomCouchPotato Lol sorry, but to make you feel better, my computer still suffers under the size and weight of most battleships!

  • Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner 2.9 years ago

@realSavageMan Ok thanks, it'll be up in a day or two, I hope you will check it out and give comments on how I can make it better.
