ah dangit. I made my plane after I read the rules. no xml modding... I didn't do the modding myself, but instead borrowed parts from other players. Is that all right? The mods are mostly for looks, although I did use an infinite fuel tank.
I am planning to enter the craft anyway. Judge it harshly because I used some xml mods.
@rubbishcraft @SteadfastContracting @KnightOfAraluen Thank you so much for the early upvotes! The description has been edited, and the comment below will link you to more information regarding mass verctoring tech.
@livetoplay11 I will definitely consider it. I might join, but it will most likely take a few days for me to upload something worth entering in a challenge.
Removing upvotes removes the primary way people say "good job". If they were removed, SP would look very empty... With no feedback at all on any plane. Only comments could be used, and nobody comments. Out of my 120 followers, only 5 consistently comment on my builds.
Very nice work. I have noticed that many players just strap wings onto the cockpit, and call it done. You went the extra mile to make a actual plane body with it. Good work!
@Flightsonic You can look into it, but I'm don't think you could make something fly with that kind of vibration. I think the vibration is caused by the physics not knowing whether the block should be where it is now, where it was a second ago, or where it will be. The physic's solution - display all 3.
@Flightsonic General relativity isn't accounted for in SP. Much like time dilation, length dilation happens at relativistic speeds. Super detachers cannons would launch bullets that would look about half as long as they should, if relativistic physics were in simple planes.
@Flightsonic Ah, ok. So this is the parachute physics being sort of weird. I have noticed that even when detached, parachutes can put force on whatever that were detached from, and vice-versa. The parachutes also receive force from what they were launched from. Parachutes have really weird physics. I hope this makes sense lol.
@Flightsonic I'm not sure that I understand. Did you mount it on a vehicle, and then try to get close to the parachutes? On my first whiplash launcher, I noticed that even when detached, parachutes put force onto the parent mass.
@joeysellers Thanks for the feedback! Wow, I'm speechless! Screenshots are a thing that I do with every plane I build, so as long as I keep playing simpleplanes (Which will be a while, this game is the best sandbox game that I have ever played), I will keep producing screenshots.
@PINK I was thinking about making a swarm fighter using the same basic layout, and then mounting tons of them onto one mothership. I am lazy, so that project will have to wait lol.

@SteadfastContracting Thanks
Awesome. Looks great, as well as innovative. beautiful inlet too.

No problem at all. If you are interested, I offer many more subassemblies. Most of them were posted a month or 2 ago.

@Ephwurd Thanks! I think it's fun messing with the physics of this game.

Time well spent. This thing looks great!

I completely understand this. I too become annoyed when my best builds get little recognition.
@Flightsonic what kinds of speeds do you use? The parachutes do move in the direction that they are fired. I might have an explanation for this.
No need for apologies mate. People often think I mod. But in reality, I'm just resourceful, and know the quirks of the airplane editor.
@OmegAa63 thanks!
@Treadmill103 Thanks! Those were my goals for this build. I'm glad that they show.

10 length requires modding. I don't XML. I just borrow parts from XML modders, and do physics breaking things with them.
Gave me a good giggle. 11/10
Very nice. I like it when people use parts that I use to make something awesome.
hohohohohoho thats awesome. Upvoting, spotlighting, and following.
Nice challenge. I wish I had the time to participate in it.
@LuKorp @GluonicGaming Didn't know that. Thanks for the input.
@Ephwurd Thanks!
Time to smash that follow button. +1 follower.
Not too complex, AND it looks great. Great cockpit too. Nice build.
@Mudkip Thanks!
agh, I don't have 1.5 yet. I'll try to remember to download it when it comes out.
Thank you @Delphinus and @Flightsonic ! You are the first two players that have spotlighted any of my designs!
@MrMecha Thanks
@oDDDynamics Thanks so much!
@Ephwurd Yeah, I'm trying to add some backstory to my builds now.
Thanks m8
I don't have a numbered name, but I do have a nonsensical one.
Looks great!
@Treadmill103 That, and the system would work much better with infinite rotators.
Nice design. It will probably get you to gold, too.
@Razr Thanks! You can tag me in the comments of your creations that use this gun. That way I'll be sure to check them out.
@Waffellord2025 What is floating around is a missile. It floats so it doesn't collide with the aircraft when it is launched.
@XymaFuryion Inspired by GoF2. I can lower the part limit easily. that means removing a lot of lights.

Minichapter.. possibly. I'm not a bad writer so....
Thanks! @Ephwurd
@BenAtennyson Resized wings from XML modding are crammed into tiny boxes. The result is a small box that has the lift of multiple large wings.
@BenAtennyson I use some modded parts, yes. If you are referring to making the cargo ship fly, I used lift modules.
@PINK I was thinking about making a swarm fighter using the same basic layout, and then mounting tons of them onto one mothership. I am lazy, so that project will have to wait lol.
@Dimkal Oh wait, I already followed you because of that awesome gunship. Good work on that build.
