Many people have posted JATO units that they have built themselves. I, for example, have a detacher based boost system that I call RATO (Repulse assisted takeoff).
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Missiles are so buggy on high speed jets. I have noticed that missiles don't spawn with a speed set to the motion of the body that they are fired off of, which creates some annoying problems with mounting missiles on high speed jets. So yes, the missiles are probably hitting the jet. Try firing at low speeds to confirm what I have said, as I am probably wrong.

@TheRedBarron Yes. Lift modules behave like wings.
@Ephwurd Ayvee doesn't use lift modules. Ayvee uses detachers. Lift modules are basically a fancy way to hide wings.
