XML isn't needed to create a good plane... iOS can create cool stuff too. I think I took a few months to get to 2.5k points when I first started out on SP, in which I used an outdated iOS device that had a deep love for constant crashing.
The "no politics" spam has already been said, but I must add that the title is misleading. It wasn't solely the president that made the decision, but it was his administration too. Sure, the president approved of the plan, but there is a fair chance that the plan itself was created by a fairly large group of military advisors.... I may be wrong on some details, but I hope the point still stands.
This looks quite nice. I think the nose should be a little different, but I can tell that you put effort into this. I'm gonna spotlight it so it can have a little more attention.
@helilover03 So right now I'm currently away from my computer. My week-long hiatus involves separation from my PC (I'm vacationing), so the progress shown is what I currently have. I will return to the project next week, but I may have some other (non-sp related) projects that may take priority over this mod.
@Ephwurd Ah yes, I will take special care in making the shipyard. I may modify one of your ships to make it look like it is undergoing maintenance or repairs.

@BirdOfSteel I made the building in SP, then exported it as an .obj file. I then imported the .obj file into Unity as an asset. Interestingly, the file has its own texture asset too, which can be imported into Unity to make texturing a bit easier.
@MAHADI Awesome. I would like to see the final version, so please tag me in the comments of the finished mech! Also, if your friend wants to know what weapons I like best, I will be happy to offer recommendations on which weapons to mount.

So in my map mod (the one that I made the challenge for) I'm thinking of making a spaceport. I only have two ships that could moor there, could I use one of your ships? You will be credited.
I'll make this an outpost on an island. Runway, helipad, and a dock will be included. The building looks good, but the runway request makes it not fit into the city.
@Mumpsy I was thinking of possibly adding a spaceport with one of my battle ships. Right now I was thinking of only having buildings on the ground (in the city). I may have a floating outpost somewhere.
Doing that with 300+ parts would be a nightmare. Drawing the lines of the constraints would be fine, but exploded view moves the parts away from each other. Determining what parts move where may be tricky. With that said, I still think it would be cool.
@Ephwurd All ships that i used will be scaled to be quite large.

iOS is really fun to build on, as there is strategy in every part placement. PC is easier though, and is better for complex builds.

@CoBros2 I prefer if it is a flying vessel. It doesn't have to be operable in space, as that is pretty hard to do.

I don't think my current layout can accomidate that. Perhaps A separate runway/airport may have a feature like what you were asking.

Yes. Use a mouse. Also download overload and the fine tuner mod. Remember that nudging is shift plus WASDQE. Nudging is very, very, very useful.
