Have you checked out my airliners yet? You can download some of mine for references on gears and nose paneling. Great livery, tho it accelerates and brakes WAY too fast (90% of players here make the same mistake, don't worry)
In case you don't know, I am one of the few creators who actually does that, so that the physics with gears could be clearly demonstrated in my builds. You really need to preach this to other builders, not me. @TheMachinist

Yes it does have a reduction of speed as I have added an air brake that goes with gear input. The part is in the nose.
I play on PC btw.
