Don't look at the newest section then. solved.
Not evevryone is a good builder. Some people just wanna share stuff because they wanna get involved with the game's community.
@ThereIsNoahScape I made a code in the engine that makes the engine power follow a weird sine curve that imitates the shape of the engine power vs mixture amount, and I made it adjust depending on altitude, so you'll need leaner mixture at higher altitude. I also added a hidden jet engine to simulate the fuel burn depending on your mixture. It's kinda complicated and I don't remember the specific codes rn lol
For me it usually happens with the cockpit, because it so much work for not much of a reward. Although, I definitely enjoy planes a lot more when they have a cockpit, so that's why I do them
Set the engines to have the accurate amount if thrust
Reduce drag until you get the accurate you speed
If the plane goes supersonic, drag increases at transonic speeds and decreases as you get above the sound barrier. So drag modeling for these aircraft might be difficult
@woodwinds11 I'm joining the air force, so from May 15th I'm not gonna have the time or the resources to build for 3 months lol. And after that I'm gonna be doing stuff so probably won't have the time.
Honestly, you're not the only one. For me, when it comes to building the cockpit, building progress slows to a snails pace. To make a realistic one, it's so much work and effort that goes into minimal reward. I mean, giving your plane a cockpit almost doubles its upvote score and makes users more excited for your future builds, but it quadruples the work, and making a cockpit is really janky and isn't supported very well. And making a cockpit means you need to make all the other systems more functional in your plane like making a better engine etc. Also we don't have enough customisability with the gauges, for example the arcs for the ASIs aren't adjustable (grinds my gears AF 😬) and all the gauges are from the same era and there's no realistic and normal looking artificial horizon. Also engines are basic asf and don't have basic things like mixture, realistic prop aerofoils, or temperatures so you have to improvise them yourself. Not yo mention propellers weigh like 700 KG and take a billion years to reach maximum RPM.

Gee. Sounds like I should be learning how to use plane maker in X Plane. XD

+2Well, that's what people used go tell me in primary school lmao
skill issue
+2Music gets annoying while doing math :p
+2Because I like making things and I like aeroplanes :D
+2I also really enjoy long art projects

+2Can it handle this though?
+2Hell yeah! My screenshot of my plane is in the thumbnail! :D
+2@cyfcsgo Try pushing the mixture and prop levers in and pressing the key
+2take it for a walk every day
+2Ahh rip. Best of luck for a better computer in the near future lol
+2Still a long way until 2000 bro
+2Nah it's just YouTube is weird sometimes. Either that or the person who uploaded it didn't know what the name of the game was.
+2That part count is pretty awesome though

+2@AVFLYER Yup! Hoping to release a low part one sometime next week :)
+2Oop, was this meant to be public?
+2@MrSilverWolf That's kinda the story with the whole map lol
+2What makes this one any different from all the others?
