In Overload, change the part ID for the wings from wing-3 to wing-2
Aka, basically turn it into a structural wing. If you wanna make it a bit more straight forward, while you're building, grab a structural wing instead of a primary wing, and in overload, enable control surfaces on it.
@Spillo Sweet! From my current testing it seems to work pretty well, although I couldn't get the autopilot to work, but that's okay since there isn't any room on the panel anyway lol
Hey question, how many parts can you run? I need you to test my plane that I've integrated the radio stack and VOR things into. It has about 1600 parts. Reckon you could just check all the systems function for me?
I see 14 upvotes here but only 13 votes on uservoice. Y'all if you want this, you need to vote for it on uservoice. Upvoting this forum does nothing but keep it near the top of the forums page for longer.
I imagine this will be a difficult thing to implement, but I mean jet engines in SR2 can do something similar to this so I don't see why this can't be done for SP.
I don't mind if this takes a while to implement either.
@InternationalAircraftCompany The fact that you did that on a post just because you saw a bunch of Chinese people here and suspected bad stuff without doing any research or even attempting to translate anything they're saying is actually really racist mate. Not funny didn't laugh.
New engine with torque curve and proper sound (Can link to props or a gearbox which can be linked to wheels) changeable number of cylinders and configuration, air or liquid cooled, carburettor or injectors etc
Procwdural jet engine like SR2
More gauge options, e.g. dynamic ASI, more artificial horizon options, a turn coordinator with a ball, and gauges for the new engines (maybe suction simulation for the gauges?) Manifold pressure, cylinder and oil temp, the ability to easily make gauges that look like this
A more user-friendly version of funky trees, like Vizzy in SR2 (writing a stupendous funky tree equation all on one line is a complete nightmare and an abomination)
This website has no algorithm and the platform your crafts are made on is a very tiny piece of text that nobody reads. It's not racism...
.
Also if you're complaining about the available mods and are being limited by that, that's google's fault for changing their requirements for games, causing the old SP mods system to become obsolete. We used to have mobile mods, but they all broke when mobile SP had to be changed from 32-bit to 64-bit.
.
And if you're complaining about the worse graphics... Well you did pay significantly less for the game. 🤷♂️
Nice plane!
Note for next time: take your screenshot from a position where you can clearly see the plane. The front view like this is probably the worst possible angle lol
I'd say top right, similar to the position the camera is in when you first load the designer is the best angle. Just note to zoom in so the plane fills the screen as well.
You probably could make it by using a normal engine and adding funky trees to simulate it's power output vs speed, but yeah if you wanna make it based on SP's drag and combustion model, you're miles out of luck lol
tryina hype them upvotes i see
+4I wanna know if any devs follow me
+1@KDnotSpy Bro I had the same issue and somehow I never bothered to check the XML XD

There's a ski version in the description @Kianoxley
Do you follow it until it reached that island off snowstone?
+4Yeah it's accurate
+4@Spillo Oh, congrats on gold BTW!

Aw man, I wish you didn't attach the radio stack like that 😂
@Mlancer I might finish it... but I dunno how much time I'll have :/
Well, he's still alive I guess
+3Wait hold on. This that a tailrotor in a Gazelle? 😟
+2@Mlancer Haha yeah. High end phones are getting much more powerful these days :)

@Kangy I made it :)

+16@InternationalAircraftCompany Aww you ruined the fun! Now chinese people can't find this and understand the meme. What a fun sucker :(
+2@Dragorans Bro they're talking about melons XD
+3I should probably put that engine suggestion in uservoice lol

+12I am in absolute shear terror
+5@druidstalk I've definitely thought about it, and that is something that I would like to build :)
Maybe one day if I have time :D

+5My Quadbike and 103 Solo
+4Why
I spent only a week building them
And they are approaching my Cessna 180 in upvotes...
I guess they just forgot to add them lol

Agreed!
+1@MrShenanigans2020 Yup, if it's above 5000 it needs good VR controls andergonomics to be curated, but the absolute limit then is 6000

Yes

+2@XAircraftManufacturer Aah
Holy cow only a week to build a plane??? Ooer... 😬
Wow
+6This is deep
This genuinely really clever!
+7Howdy
+1@WiniMii I actually built this entirely before 1.11 except for the wheels and mud flaps lol
On the plus side... the tail is intact! :D
