@ZWLenning Thanks :)
@Madmaximus
We'll see how thorough my "leave" is. I probably won't have time to build detailed aircraft like this any more, but I think I will still be active here on the site, especially considering I'm the all-time most active user lol
Honestly, you're not the only one. For me, when it comes to building the cockpit, building progress slows to a snails pace. To make a realistic one, it's so much work and effort that goes into minimal reward. I mean, giving your plane a cockpit almost doubles its upvote score and makes users more excited for your future builds, but it quadruples the work, and making a cockpit is really janky and isn't supported very well. And making a cockpit means you need to make all the other systems more functional in your plane like making a better engine etc. Also we don't have enough customisability with the gauges, for example the arcs for the ASIs aren't adjustable (grinds my gears AF 😬) and all the gauges are from the same era and there's no realistic and normal looking artificial horizon. Also engines are basic asf and don't have basic things like mixture, realistic prop aerofoils, or temperatures so you have to improvise them yourself. Not yo mention propellers weigh like 700 KG and take a billion years to reach maximum RPM.
.
Gee. Sounds like I should be learning how to use plane maker in X Plane. XD
I think the reason it's never pointed out is by the time people have played the game enough and are engaged enough to start hanging out in the forums, were taking this bug for granted and don't care about it any more lol. Also it's only on mobile, and, well, PC master race...
@UltraLight Yeah, the radio stack and a few of the gauges are actually just taken off this plane, with the fonts adjusted. I think the thing that looks like a fuel computer actually only tells you the temperature and the time since the flight started. Or, it might do more, just I don't know how to use it lmao
I think it's saying 20.3°C lol
@CaptFoxworth19 3 underscores in a row
___+1
@Timplanes @Dragorans @WaitBreadIsntAfruit Thanks! :)
+1@ZWLenning Thanks :)

@DogeToTheMoon It's based off a Lycoming O-470, which I think is a flat V6, which apparently is different to a boxer 6 lol
+1@BeastHunter You grab the black strip at the bottom and drag it up
+3@AVFLYER Yup! Hoping to release a low part one sometime next week :)
+2Either that, or ⛔ airlines
+4The no livery
+3Oop, was this meant to be public?
+2@PlaneFlightX Er, it was actually much better than this. XD
+1People who don't like shitposts are butt-hurt poeple who feel ratioed. Don't worry about them. They're funny :)
+11e g g
+1@MrSilverWolf That's kinda the story with the whole map lol
+2@DeveloperKorzalerke Well, you can't exactly teach someone how to be mechanically minded...
+3Instead of searching how to make things in SimplePlanes, you need to look at the real thing and see how it's done, and replicate it in SimplePlanes :)
+1Do you just wanna test this to make sure all the radio stuff works?
@Oculite1 I'm glad you like it! :)
merry birthday and a happy new thanksgiving
+1Wow, it is quite impressive how well this effect works :D
+3The only problem is you can't really use it on tapering edges or uneven curves..
Did you mean to upload this public?
When at high frame rates, getting the correct level of zoom is quite difficult. Any chance you could make an update that adjust how fast this zooms?
hold up
that aint your cockpit...
I play it at a steady pace :)
+6Just set collision response to none and go on a ramming rampage. Yay
+6I wish there were more default seat settings ngl
+16What makes this one any different from all the others?
+2don't we have enough already?

+2good thing it can't attack ukraine any more
+5Hmm for some reason for me it still isn't popping up...
@Numbers2 it's for comments too
@xNotDumb cause ai dumb
It's kinda weird because that's way beyond the actual number of characters comments are able to show
+1Thought I had seen this egg thing before!

+1This happens for all parts and has been a bug since the game first released in 2014... :/
@UltraLight They're meant to be carb heat and cabin heat, but they don't function. But you can pretend they do if you want :)
@Oxen yes that's why
What graphics settings are you using?
And, judging by every other upload on this site, works for everyone else..
works for me
Relatable
+4@Behroozi Thanks! You should check out some of my later builds. This is nothing now :D
+1(Pssst, the Saab J-19 is a real plane that looks like a weird Mitsubishi Zero, that never went into production . Also known as the L-12)
