I don't think there's any achievable "private plane" that's similar to a B-17.
.
If you want to get into flying warbirds, I guess the best bet would be joining a club or part ownership for a Harvard. Although it's not multi-engined, it has all the similar systems to a WWII plane and it's generally where most warbird pilots start out. I will note, it's a lot more expensive than flying a humble 172.
Increase the mass scale of your rotators and the parts that connect to them, and if it gets too heavy, scale up your fuselage blocks and reduce the size of them the normal way to make them the same size as the were before
Just so you know, the reason the reflections are all whack around the tail is because your fuselage blocks are unevenly scaled, and the reflections are trying to reflect like the parts are their original shape.
SP is almost a decade old, and from what I've heard, there are parts of the core game that are kinda spaghetti coded, which makes updating the game difficult, whish I think is why Jundroo is moving away from SP.
.
Also, Jundroo is working on some unannounced project which Andrew says we will like, so maybe SP2 or some other physics based game that involves planes, I I wouldn't exactly sat the devs are putting in a lack of effort.
.
With that said, I do think SP needs a couple of very small things added to complete it for now:
Funky tree inputs for wheel brakes
Buttons/switches with a hold setting for actuating (e.g. if you want flaps operated by a hold button for down and a seperate hold button for up, but also want them to be acuated by VTOL) and a 2 way switch that can be pushed both up, down and middle.
Practice and effort I guess are the best ways to get good. Also hanging out in discord servers to get advice on building techniques and feedback is a good way to get better faster :)
@PlaneFlightX Ah sorry, I didn't have time last weekend. I'll be home again this weekend though. Also I've purchased more Google cloud storage so I think I could upload most of them now
@2377093782 this plane was uploaded as a test while SP was having site issues, and then when the site was fixed everyone started upvoting it for some reason
The only reason we play SimplePlanes instead of making actual models in 3D modeling software and making mods for other games is because we don't know how to use CAD and are too lazy to learn. I recommend looking elsewhere lol

@SimpleplanesGOAT1234 Oh man that made me laugh way too hard XDDD
deep fried thumbnail lol
How do you remember how many "e"s there are your username lol
Here, hope this works @Flrxent
+3@Flrxent Oh I'm really sorry but I don't think I ended up downloading this one :/
Although, I think I know a place you can still get it, hold on
+1🅱️8 modor
Trust me dude, nobody minds at all if your build takes longer than intended to release lol
+1Ackshually the SU-24 is based on the Helkeska get it right bruv
The sky
+2I went to school, hence my ability to write
+1@SkyJayTheFirst Okay. Please don't tag me again, and you probably shouldn't tag people who don't ask as that kinda comes under begging for upvotes.
+1Did all those people you tagged ask to be tagged?
+2@SkyJayTheFirst yo whyd you ping me
+1@daibanghe thank you for enjoying my plane so much (I assume)

+1Not letting white rank users join is a pretty dumb rule tbh
+6Everyone looking forward to the release of GTA6 but this guy already has GTA7

@Kerbango oh wow 😂
@Kerbango yeah I know that now...

@mikoyanster I have some of your mods still downloaded, I could help you recover them
+1Practice and effort I guess are the best ways to get good. Also hanging out in discord servers to get advice on building techniques and feedback is a good way to get better faster :)
I guess I better finish my AN-2 now lol

+6Tomorrow I have to get up at 5am bruh
+1There's no algorithm on the SP site. You can put uploading on hold for as long as you like and come back to it and your planes will still get upvotes.
Also this is probably not a good idea :p
+1Damn f86 at home kinda better (but kinda ugly)
The top one be kinda familiar lol
You can tell the devs for SP are also space nerds lol
+4@TheAviator77 L + ratio + cry about it
Damn this looks like it'll get 400+ upvotes at this rate!
Can attest
+1@1714 uh idk if Google is translating that correctly for me lol
@pilotaussie sure is lol
@min54523gg See comment below your one :)
+1Damn that's gotta be a new record!

How many parts did the build you download have? Most phones generally struggle at over 1000
no
bad
Bro that would be the worst reward ever ngl
+1Upload it again, just without the swastika
+1I remember trying to replicate a smaller version of this plane back when I first started playing SP, when this plane was in the original UI
+1@GuardianAerospace You could upload planes before you could make an account. This was one of the very first planes ever uploaded to SP
No
This gives me a solid 1 fps on my phone lol
