@WNP78 i used a system where you control the tow first, then detach and activate. Both can be downloaded separately
A multiplayer towplane is possible though
ABS: not required. Cars will grip (even turn) on full brakes. But you can reduce brake torque in the xml
Differential: the best you can do is to have the differential only TUNED TO A FIXED SPEED. Put the wheels on hinge rotators.
This missile launcher maybe (120 parts)
Need GTA V planes? Hydra or Lazer (about 60 parts each) Hover cars for streets (100 parts)
And of course the Llama (120 parts)
Fairly low part count

Keep the CoM low enough, try having the CoM at less than half the height

I have only made 2 custom gear in my whole gameplay
High is best, pistons cant handle weight on low
