I recommend you to use VTOL nozzles to have better looking smoke trails. Set the VTOL engine's input max=0.25 to make the smoke a bit more transparent.
try using missiles instead of Boom 50s for impact explosions, because missiles can be hidden in the weapon selector if you set the missile to function = MultiRole.
Also the exhaust smoke is too dark. Go to the engine InputController and setmax = 0.3 to make the smoke a bit more transparent.

Note that Power/Weight Ratio is inaccurate due to multiple engines. (I had to make the afterburner effect)
