'Use mouse as joystick' Is unusable (At least for me)

I play both Warthunder and SP.
Both has 'mouse control', but it's kinda different.
Warthunder's mouse control has something called an
'Instructor', and I believe it's made to translate mouse control to joystick control.
However, SP doesn't have it.
SP's mouse control is quite simple, sweeping the mouse back and foward is 'Pitch', and left and right is 'Roll'.
Warthunder has 'Yaw' control on the mouse, which makes the control significantly better, because it gives rudder control, and it makes better control, especially for aiming.
-Warthunder Instructor system-
Simplified control
This is the first of the experienced control modes, providing the player with direct control over the aircraft on its three independent axes – roll, pitch and yaw. The use of this and the following modes assumes that the player has a joystick. In the absence of a joystick, one can configure the controls for a mouse+keyboard combination, but this means the mouse has to be switched to mouse-joystick mouse, i.e. mousejoy. But even with mousejoy, control over the aircraft is fully given over to the player, and this is the main difference from MA. Nonetheless, in simplified control mode the Instructor continues to help the player, preventing them from performing maneuvers that are too sharp and not allowing them to enter extreme angles of attack that could lead to a stall or a spin. In simplified control mode, the Instructor also takes full control over the aircraft’s trim tabs, offsetting the influence of the propeller’s reaction torque and allowing the player to forget about this sometimes very unpleasant event. The player can disconnect the Instructor from the propulsion system and take full engine control in the midst of battle.
Could this system be added to simpleplanes?

That funcion is a lot use full when you need to be precise or if your plane has a wobbling, even if its a little bit.

@brians1209 Warthunder is a game about shooting things, Simpleplanes is a game about building things. What I'm trying to get at here is that SimplePlanes is a physics sandbox at its heart. Your control inputs are fed to parts that interact with the physics to do things, that's it. There's no hidden AI making things easier for you, no fly-by-wire system forcing the vehicle to do what you tell it. So if you want something to fly in a certain way, you have to design that something. And test it. And fix it. And ask for help. And look up the xml values. And get Snowflakeos to help you with the Funkytrees math. And test it some more... The building part is the game. Actually flying the darn thing is like a bonus. Take my last plane for example, I had to figure out how to get it to fly one speed when the wings were extended, another speed when they were pulled back, change the amount of lift as the wings moved, add even more lift when the flaps extend, make sure its a realistic speed at all altitudes. It took forever to make it handle right and that was AFTER I was done building the thing!

@F104Deathtrap Can you show me an example build of it?

uhm well git gud, I find using a joystick better for realistic dogfights in sp, but mouse control would be neat

Well my dude, it sounds like the way the planes are built not the way SP is made. If you want EZ PZ Warthunder controls then build planes that handle like Warthunder. SP has all the tools you need to do it. Hell, you can even download other people's creations and modify them to do it. Just mod the control surfaces with some Funkytrees magic and boom, you'll be mouse cursoring like a WT casual in no time!

I believe it's with the coding made for the planes in wt. All planes in wt are made by devs,so they can code the equivalent on thiss and thats depending on the plane, unlike here where the system has to encounter a lot of different plane performance, which makes it harder to adapt.

@AircraftoftheRedStar Ah, but it would be nice to have it in SP as an option.

War Thunder’s flight control is different than SP joystick. SP is designed to be controlled like a real airplane with proper pitch and roll inputs. In War Thunder, anywhere you drag the mouse the airplane will adjust its flight path using all inputs to make it line up exactly with your marker.

@Strikefighter04 Why not use it in SP too?
SP is also a game. It's always better to have easy control

Real pilots don't user rudder control all the time, as in the case of War Thunder. War Thunder is made easier to play.
