In light of the updated understanding of the archipelago’s geography and the shared proximity within the strait, Silbertal would like to raise an additional point for open discussion.
Silbertal proposes to explore whether the nearest island within the archipelago could, by mutual agreement, be designated as a buffer zone. Such a designation would not serve force projection, but rather function as a stabilizing measure aimed at reducing tension, improving transparency, and ensuring predictability in a strategically sensitive area.
As an alternative—offered in the same cooperative spirit—Silbertal is prepared to consider a civil infrastructure initiative, including the possible construction of a fixed link or bridge to the island. This project would be explicitly civilian in nature and intended as a gesture of goodwill, as well as a long-term symbol of cooperation and peaceful coexistence between neighboring parties.
Both options are presented as proposals, not demands.
The intention is to encourage dialogue, prevent misinterpretation, and promote a stable regional environment.
Silbertal remains open to discussion and welcomes responses from all parties concerned.
