curators, according to Andrew (I think it was?), curators are the player that built something that is actually VR friendly. Because some planes have a small, cramped cockpit in order to fit perfectly with the size of the aircraft. Those aircrafts include mine. Bad looking aircraft with good functioning cockpit would likely get curated than the good look but bad function aircraft. Once an aircraft is curated, the user will get the Curator role.
...Ok, nevermind. the person below is right. I checked it again and yep, curators are the one giving you the curation, not a user that got his aircraft curated. The upside of getting your craft curated is that you get double points for every upvote (effect only lasts until SPVR is released). The downside of being curated is that you can't edit your post while being curated. You have to ask a curator to un-curate if you wanted to edit, and ask them again to re-curate it. For more info, you can see about the post here
I use Nautical for units (NMi, ft, knots), and I use TAS for readings.
nautical because I always liked the sound of Nautical miles (I watched too much GS videos) and TAS because I wanted to have true speed readings when going into the air. So I know what to do.
another thing you can do to reduce lag is make all of the part's drag to 0. I don't really do it, just because I don't want to break the immersion, and at the same time I don't wanna manually go to xml everytime just to get calculateDrag to false.
@Neruneten21
ah.
Also for those who's wondering, yes I did get rickrolled. But thanks to my internet being slow enough, I can escape the video. Although, I did click on the link.
Go check Google PlayStore in your PC maybe? I dunno how else would you get a free installation of SimplePlanes when you already bought one from the PlayStore in your phone.
@Bellcat
I know it's unnecessary. I know even if I posted this, people would do it anyway. Just wanted to let out my anger.
Seems like ranting about stuff on the internet was a bad idea after all.
@EasternPatrick
well, it's actually pretty simple. That's why it has "simple" on the title. You put a rotator, an intake fuselage, an engine that is so powerful, and modify it to become so small (about 0.1 scale for this engine's case), and a vtol engine and the nozzle. Edit the vtol engine's "max" to 0 and "input" to Throttle>0.9. and boom, it's done.
for configs, I recommend 2 R-73s on the wingtip, 2 R-77s and 4 OFAB-100-120 on the wings, and 4 KH-31s under the fuselage
but then again, it's up to you.
@Chickendude
just put it into an activation group. I prefer 8, just because 8 is the group that first turns on after you spawned in, so I don't have to turn it on manually.
@Dragorans
maybe in case you forgot about your codes, you can download the xml and paste it to one of your craft. Maybe you put it in the new ones that you're currently building, or the old one that you wanted to improve.
@Formula350
ignitionDelay is for missiles. Specifically, it would delay the ignition of the rocket boosters after launch by seconds. This is a great feature for making custom medium-bvr range missiles. Speaking of rocket boosters, I think Rocket Boosters in SP needs to be more solid.
But liftScale? Damn, I didn't know that existed (which I'm sure literally almost everybody also didn't know.), this is great for something like a flat fuselage design which irl, gives more lift.
@Amgtkids
well, I suck too. The thing is, you just have to try making it. It doesn't have to be super detailed. Try getting a blueprint, this will massively help you on your creation.
"missiles that don't miss"
me when I hear that:
countermeasure time
ah ok. but still watch out for scams.
I guess I just have a lack of info and decided to take it seriously.
@Gro ah ok
Su-30MKI?
@Bellcat
I know. I edited the message.

@Noname918181
oh, ok. Thanks for the info.
@SpandrelVikhrs
That's what I said!
It's annoying to see these OP missiles man! It's just not cool!
how about instead of AltitudeAgl/5, how about AltitudeAgl<5?
@ART384
ah ok. It's something else then. I'll try it later.
@ART384
put the wing on a structural wing.
@Bellcat
thanks.
I think I see the problem...
wing's not sturdy enough.
@ART384
when I have time
Also, try  next time
result will be like this

ok, first of all, fro? what is that?
second, wdym by "phase"?
@Neruneten21
ah.

ok this is nice
@Neruneten21
woah, did you use like a vtol engine or smth?
@Bellcat
Ok, now this is real advice.
Thanks for the advice man!

he does look a bit familiar

@Chickendude
yaw physics in SP isn't great, that's why.
@KH2B
that's why I said it
just to let you know :)
@Chickendude
facepalm
delete it
and put 1 on activation group
done.
@Chickendude
did you put it on input tab or ActivationGroup tab?
@Chickendude
facepalm
seriously man? Couldn't you just put the number 1 on the activationGroup tab?
@Chickendude
I know, but how does activation group not work?
also can you give me the code again? I forgot.
@Chickendude
wait, what?
@Chickendude
yes.
just put it on an activation group.
@Chickendude

you do you man
recommend building something that's less complicated than the others
did you try putting them on a pylon?
do you hear like a rumbling noise when you fly it?
you forgot about X, which is for Experimental.
@Chickendude
you're welcome
something to do with the clamp, probably
try changing it to clamp instead of clamp01
@Chickendude
try putting the /100 into a higher or lower number?
@Chickendude
hmm..
what's the TVC code?
@Chickendude

why not make it yourself?
