yknow,
wish I could try it out, but my phone would explode.
even with the lowest, 960 parts, I wouldn't be able to fly as comfortably due to the immense lag caused by this masterpiece.
truly a shame.
that is definitely an old technique
you rarely see those these days because of how much convenience is there
as for the help, sorry, no can do on the cockpit aspect
I can help on weapons though, as I'm also making a Typhoon rn
little lore I made up just because I'm bored:
the XV-2A was originally developed as a prototype aircraft, it served as a testbed for a VTOL technology AAI have been taking interest in lately
however, the prototype crashed, due to hydraulical failure during it's 3rd flight, causing the RCS nozzles and all control surfaces to stop functioning, pilot ejected
after the crash, AAI thought of making a second one (which explains why there is still another prototype of it), but they stopped midway because they realized it was too expensive to make and considering the finances of the company, they might not be able to recover once they commited onto it
after the alliance invasion of Yeager, AAI realized they might be able to continue the program, but the concern for an invasion against Staneland provoked one of the higher ups to transport the XV-2A to Yeager and hid it inside the hangar, safe against surveilance cameras, along with the mockup
after the annexation of Staneland, AAI was forced to join the side of the UFSR in order to survive, and gave plans for new aircrafts to the higher ups
the higher ups took interest in the XV-2A and asked AAI to make it again, however AAI refused due to the company's financial issue (which is barely holding on), and instead told them about the existing XV-2A mockup and second unfinished prototype stored at Yeager
the blueprints at this point was already handed to the higher ups, but the instructions were unclear to them, and as such they needed the mockup and the 2nd airframe to continue researching it
Yeager was retaken, and the XV-2A had been retrieved by Fortis
the next problem however, is who is going to research this thing?
Yekavlov was ready to answer that question and took full responsibility for the research and production of a new VTOL fighter
as a means to reduce cost, AAI helped Yekavlov in producing the aircraft once it was researched by providing some of the avionics needed
the result of this research was the Ye-110
yknow
this pops ups on my notifs
and the moment I see it dude
uncool.
do you understand how HARD it is to ACTUALLY make a livery with good color combination? man not my oshi bruh
@Solo23456789
the reason I made the engine that weak because that engine was rated as accurately as possible
but SP being SP I can't really make the engines perform as accurate as a real life engine without me using more fuel, so I just decided to do that
for the most part I'm just dissapointed
but tbf I really should redo all of my older frames because they all suck
man really just ripped off the livery (the selling point of the aircraft), recolored it, removed the tanks, made it have too much engine power, and called it a day
not saying that I'm against it, I'm just...
...dissapointed.
@KingOfTypos
The point of it being in AG2 is so that it won't move during takeoffs. So say if you want to correct a tiny mistake on your lineup during takeoff, you can just use rudder.
"Well, why not limit it based on the speed?"
I used to do this. I decided it wasn't really that fun anymore because the steering will still activate below the supposed speed limiter. Sure, I could make it so that it reduces input according to Ground Speed, but nah. Also just for extra detail.
guys
should we bring back the XV-2A and weaponize it or no?
I have about 7250SP remaining so if you want pls gib fund
it'll be kind of expensive to make so uh if you want some pls donate to your local armsdealer
I'll proceed to make some attack helicopters now aoaoaoao
@UmbrellaCorporation
Do it yourself, it's much more satisfying.
Which is why most of the time I refuse to modify other people's creations as it's much more satisfying if you make it yourself.
burner looks a bit uncanny but
it's fine
is spot 2 taken?
if not, I'll take that thank you
now I gotta prepare some stuff
may or may not participate
dunno

quick question
does an AEW&C/AWACS count as a strong vehicle? because I feel like it is
@AirCombatant98
technically yes
but also no
yknow
this pops ups on my notifs
and the moment I see it
dude
uncool.

@V1thebomb
that would be against the rules
they specifically said to not use wmds and nuke is a wmd
@Yourlocalhuman
not that there's anything wrong
I'm just speechless lmfao
bruh
I know I make my own idol liveries on my planes but
bruh
@Solo23456789
have you heard about this thing called "drag"?
@ReturnOfJeffChandler
oh ok
also no, the missiles in game has no tvc
there is no 9X in the game
yooooooooooooo epic
man really just ripped off the livery (the selling point of the aircraft), recolored it, removed the tanks, made it have too much engine power, and called it a day
not saying that I'm against it, I'm just...

I'm going to make an AWACS because we're missing an AWACS and that'll be my last post cause I'm too busy with my own projects
@Hannyboy
Ok, but what if ground transport is an issue?
we can't just deploy the Ye-30 for troops, that's a waste
@Hannyboy
sure, but is it good enough?
@Yourlocalhuman
the thing with helicopters is that they don't fight as a strike aircraft, they provide CAS for troops
hold on, don't attack yet
I need to regain SP
@Yourlocalhuman
attack
maybe transport later on
as far as my eyes see, we're lacking helicopters
so I'm making one
ok quick question
does a dual barreled autocannon counts as one autocannon?
@Yourlocalhuman
I thought alliance had Yeager still?
@KingOfTypos

since my roles have been removed from the alliance, I ask you to remove the AAI XV-2A from the list
it was retired anyway so yeah
@UmbrellaCorporation

damn.
