for the first problem, there may be something wrong with the airbrake I placed which limits the top speed
for the second one, well it's what airplanes do, use trim so you don't get tired

I don't question the intake placement, but I question your control surfaces now what in the world
unlike the F-16, this thing looks like the moment it stalls out, it's unrecoverable no matter what you do
I don't mean that the landing gear is too low, I mean that the landing gear has no space (realistically) for it to retract, because it's taken up by the engine placement (this doesn't apply in SP ofc because SP's morfology can be easily bypassed lmfao)

chubby lil plane, perfect for attacking ground targets, vietnam style
very, very plausible design for a 70s aircraft, also looks very versatile
fuselage looks long enough, you can basically turn this thing into a supersonic aircraft by putting on afterburner engines like real

also nighttime capabilities, nice :D
my only complain is that the canopy bow is only present for the WSO seat, which doesn't look very strong for a canopy at that time to handle more Gs

aircraft looks unstable, and it doesn't look aerodynamic
nose cone looks too small for a radar
thin, delta wings suggests a supersonic trainer configuration, but since the aircraft doesn't look that aerodynamic, I doubt it can go past mach 1 (realistically)
engine config is... questionable
so is the main landing gear
however, this has potential
if it's redesigned with proper aeronautical engineering in mind, it has potential to be a great platform
