I'm not sure about the A2G group part tbh, but I do know that you can activate something by selecting the weapon.
That something is SelectedWeaponName:insert weapon name here
now, keep in mind, I don't want the follow thing, I just like helping people if I can. You guys really need to stop the "if you help, I'll upvote your stuff" thing. It's kind of violating the rules, and I generally don't like it.
@Walvis
honestly, a B-71 would be pretty cool!
the Americans can still have a bomber the soviets can't reach, and it carries a very similar mission to the XB-70. Although, I kinda doubt that it'd last long enough.
@Bellcat
I. Know. Don't teach me like I don't know about that.
Anyways, how is the file not there? Did you like delete it or something? Have you set the predictor to max settings? Have you tried redownloading the app? Maybe that'll help bring back some missing stuff.
how are most of you guys surprised by the fact that mods don't help on the development of the game? They're just a mod, what can they do? Delete the game off the appstore and steam? Yeah, like they can do that.
maxVelocityAngleAdjusmentRate is the max amount of how much your missile can turn. As long as it's below or has the same value as Heading, it should be fine.
maxHeadingAngleAdjustmentRate is the max amount of how much your missile can point it's nose at the target. This is basically a limiter to how much your missile can turn.
Example:
-Condition 1:
if you leave the Heading at 50 and the Velocity at 60, the missile will not turn as hard as it should (60° rate/second). Instead it will limit it's turn (50° rate/second).
-Condition 2:
If you put the Heading to 60 and the Velocity to 60, it will have 60° rate/second, most likely every time.
-Condition 3:
If you put the Heading to 80 and the Velocity to 60, you will have a missile that tries to turn very hard, but it will not change it's direction above 60° rate/second. Kind of like how aircrafts do PSMs. But since it's powered with a rocket booster, it won't be too slow. This is the one I usually use for high capable missiles, like the AIM-9X or the Python-5.
Now, keep in mind that I haven't tested if the turn rate of the missiles are the exact same rate that I have put, simply because I do not wanna go and put a flight computer in missiles just to prove this. And that is exactly why we need at least replays. If can, tacviews.
If you don't already know, Tacview is a feature in DCS where it works as a replay, and also an observation view. It lets you see the exact turn rates, speed, altitude, it's range to other crafts, G-forces pulled, and maybe more stuff. Idrk, I haven't played DCS, but I do watch them. Oh, also they have trails for every single aircraft. Although unlike replays, it's pretty much colorless. As a map for the ground and terrains, and the aircrafts are colored depending which team the aircraft is on.
there are some things that you missed and is wrong about:
1. you forgot the fact that the Gripen is easy to maintain, and it has STOL capabilities. It can also supermaneuver.
2. you forgot the fact that both the F-16 and F/A-18 can carry alot of weapons, and an AMRAAM, which is ridiculously powerful.
3. The Su-30SM is a specialized version of the Su-30MKI specifically for the Russian Air Force.
4. No, assuming it's not the MiG-29OVT, the MiG-29 does NOT have a thrust vectoring.
As for my vote, I'd like the Philippines to choose either the Viper, or the Gripen.
These are reasons I choose the two out of all of them:
- The Viper is 80% better than the F/A-18.
- The Su-30MKI, while it is very good, it is very expensive.
- Lack of range on the MiG-29.
- Lack of thrust/weight of the F/A-18.
- Gripen's easy to maintain status.
- Viper's bubble canopy.
- Gripen's capability. Including STOL, supermaneuver, and the loadout capability.
- Viper's capability. Including high T/W ratio, HOBS, and loadout capability.
Dude, uncool.
You stole a plane, sooo uncool.
"tHis ToOk sOoOooOoO lOng" like get outta here you don't even belong here literally just ctrl+c and ctrl+v and you expect people to like it? Hell na, nobody likes art thieves and sell it to get profit really, REALLY wanted to drop the f bomb, but not here
curators, according to Andrew (I think it was?), curators are the player that built something that is actually VR friendly. Because some planes have a small, cramped cockpit in order to fit perfectly with the size of the aircraft. Those aircrafts include mine. Bad looking aircraft with good functioning cockpit would likely get curated than the good look but bad function aircraft. Once an aircraft is curated, the user will get the Curator role.
...Ok, nevermind. the person below is right. I checked it again and yep, curators are the one giving you the curation, not a user that got his aircraft curated. The upside of getting your craft curated is that you get double points for every upvote (effect only lasts until SPVR is released). The downside of being curated is that you can't edit your post while being curated. You have to ask a curator to un-curate if you wanted to edit, and ask them again to re-curate it. For more info, you can see about the post here
I use Nautical for units (NMi, ft, knots), and I use TAS for readings.
nautical because I always liked the sound of Nautical miles (I watched too much GS videos) and TAS because I wanted to have true speed readings when going into the air. So I know what to do.
why are you guys so confused? It's literally as simple as Pitch*1+Roll*-1 (depending on the side, if it's on the left side, use -, if it's on the right side, just use it do it normally)
yep, same here. Sometimes when I tried to comment, it'll lag and send an error message. And pages sometimes don't refresh itself, which lead me to believe that I didn't send the message, which resulted in me sending the same message twice. It also just happened to this comment. Somehow my first comment about this wasn't sent, and I ended up refreshing the page. But when I checked, the comment wasn't there. And then the third message (which is the same exact message as this one, except this part was edited) which I accidentally sent, wouldn't wanna be gone from my screen no matter how much I refreshed this page.
another thing you can do to reduce lag is make all of the part's drag to 0. I don't really do it, just because I don't want to break the immersion, and at the same time I don't wanna manually go to xml everytime just to get calculateDrag to false.
@Neruneten21
ah.
Also for those who's wondering, yes I did get rickrolled. But thanks to my internet being slow enough, I can escape the video. Although, I did click on the link.
it is advised to have the com in front of the col just a bit.
Although, having the com just in front of the col will make your plane harder to control, but it gives more maneuverability. If too close, your aircraft will perform PSM easily. if it's pretty close, it would either make the plane able to fly straight, or pitch up slowly over time. This I think is based of physics quality. This comment was based on my experience in low physics.
Go check Google PlayStore in your PC maybe? I dunno how else would you get a free installation of SimplePlanes when you already bought one from the PlayStore in your phone.

I'm sorry, do you mean the SR-71? Because the SR-72 hasn't even been made yet.
+1thank god it's not some average supra fan.

+2how are most of you guys surprised by the fact that mods don't help on the development of the game? They're just a mod, what can they do? Delete the game off the appstore and steam? Yeah, like they can do that.

+8after some research, I think it is a satellite panel. Not really sure as I have never studied the C-130
+1well, you can use blueprints, make the edges of the fuselage circle, and enable smoothing. This is all pretty common tbh.

how about instead of AltitudeAgl/5, how about AltitudeAgl<5?
Yoooooo! F/A-18F Block III(?) pog!
+1unrealistic amount of load, but damn, that looks good.

@Neruneten21
woah, did you use like a vtol engine or smth?
how tho?
+1It's the base avatar now.
+1the original base Avatars are replaced with these abstract Avatars. Although, I've seen some people retain their base avatar
@Bellcat
Ok, now this is real advice.
Thanks for the advice man!
Idk, seems like people just doesn't want simplistic designs here in SimplePlanes.
+1Go check Google PlayStore in your PC maybe? I dunno how else would you get a free installation of SimplePlanes when you already bought one from the PlayStore in your phone.
I don't think so... Would be cool though.
