@X99STRIKER
Well, I did just say go look it in the pigpen. Stop making me try to say "go figure it out yourself" repeatedly, I'm getting sick of this.
Besides, doing it is very easy. So easy, it just doesn't make sense if it takes too long to figure it out yourselves.
yes.
so, Ace Combat is a flight combat arcade featuring many aircrafts and an engaging story. And the one you got (7) is the newest game. If you enjoyed it, I recommend playing other Ace Combats as well. I really recommend checking out the PS2 games of Ace Combat, they're pretty good.
Outside the games itself, Ace Combat has been a meme for a long time. Flying in a tunnel? Ace Combat. Doing some crazy maneuvers? Ace Combat. Showing a picture of a man having laser eyes and saying "IT'S TIME" like he's very triggered? Ace Combat.
I'm not gonna go as far as spoiling the story for AC7, so have fun.
I honestly think it's the Hornet (aka Wasp). The whole thing is very good.
Although two thing I don't like about it are the fbw system and the thrust/weight ratio. the fbw sometimes just messes with your maneuvers, and I just don't like unrealistic t/w ratios. The hornet has a pretty weak engine, since the T/W of the hornet is around 0.8,while the game's Hornet is around 1.3. But then again I could easily change it.
There are 3 ways of doing this, from hard, to easy.
1. Let's start with the Hardest. Delete all high performance cost parts carefully. Do not delete the important ones (excluding texts). You can see how much a part costs in the aircraft info ("i" button on the designer menu).
2. This next one is medium. If you're pretty rich, this should be no problem. But I'd like to think otherwise. Get a much better device. Aircrafts will cause more lag the more parts it has due to all the calculations.
3. This is the easiest way. Tune all of your graphics down to the lowest available graphics. especially physics. Higher physics will cause more lag due to again, calculations.
If option 1 and option 3 didn't work, and you're too poor to get a new device, I suggest not flying it.
Oh also, @ReinMcDeer I vote for either the red, or the yellow. Just because Idk, it looks better than the rest. Plain is also good, since well... It's the most common.
@Fineilldoitmyself
Why do you explain it in such complex way, lmao?
You could've literally just typed "".
Also, if you want to post your screenshots, you first need to post your image somewhere say, Discord. If you click on the image you'll see "open original image" (a share button if you're on mobile) and you can get the link from there.
You can watch the tutorial here
For mobile players, open the dev console, type in //MainCamera>Camera.set_depth 10 to hide your instrument. you can also change the FoV to make it look nicer by inserting the //MainCamera>Camera.set_fieldOfView 30 (or any number that will feel comfortable). Take the screenshot, and follow the tutorial.
@DonneviC
oh I see why now
well you don't need variables so yeah just put any number (1-8) on the activationGroup and enable zeroOnDeactivate and it should work
@Yes9338
Ok so, I managed to fix the unable to do cobra now, in fact, It can do kulbits very well!
The stalling problem I still can't figure out, but I think the main problem is the lack of lift. This happened in my F-14B where if I pulled too hard, it'll just stall out. So yeah, increase the lift by either:
1. Making the wing larger
2. Select the first wings, go into overload, go to Wing.State xml, change the "wingPhysicsEnabled" value to true
3. Select the wing, go into overload, open Wing.State xml, add liftScale and put a number above 1 in the value
Did you play on low physics settings? shocks/wheels usually does that.
on how fixing it, tune the damper and the suspension strength so it can be stable. It works for me.
Nvm. Just checked the GIF and it's the rotator problem. To fix it, go to the overload menu, go to the Joint Rotator section, put damperMultiplier and put the value above 1. Should make the rotator less wobbly.
@X99STRIKER
No I did know, I'm honest
I guess I'm just too lazy, Idk what goes through my mind when I said that
but uh yeah like @Tookan said, it's as simple as that. That's why I said go figure it out yourselves.
@X99STRIKER
wdym? that doesn't make any sense lmao
anyway time to stop this argument
you win
I lose

@X99STRIKER
I mean, if you're going to be lazy then what's the point in arguing about this?
@X99STRIKER
well then, figure it out yourself. If you want to know how, go look at the pigpen, it has pretty much the same thing.
@X99STRIKER
oh well. it's not actually an image. It's just texts carefully positioned.
couldn't you just, Idk figure out yourselves?
yes.

+1Hey, I'm playing on low physics. And I'm very fine with it.

no prob. welcome to sp. don't steal, and be creative.

+4get upvotes. Here, lemme give you one, since you just started.
@Chillybaconface
Oh wait, I meant rudder pedals.
Waivaaaaan
+1This'll be good
oh ok.
also question
can you make rudders actually work in vr?
Oh also, @ReinMcDeer I vote for either the red, or the yellow. Just because Idk, it looks better than the rest. Plain is also good, since well... It's the most common.
+1This really looks better than my wip f-15s lmao. T.

+1Yes, I do.
@MashMellow
because it's the only way, what do you expect more?
@DonneviC
bruh?
can you give me the unlisted post of the aircraft?

Aight, where is it?
@Yes9338
So basically you're trying to do a cobra, but then your plane starts going super unstable?
Nevermind, lmao. I found something.
AHAHAHAHAHAAAA
IT'S TIME
YOU HAVE TO BE JUST LIKE A KNIFE TO KILL ME FROM THE FRONT
Tip:
Did you know there's this thing called fuselage? It's a really cool block that you can reshape! Try it out!
wdym dissapear?
something to do with repeat, Ig? Idk.
+1w h a t .
+1I legit don't understand...
backward turn?
also for unstable issues, just increase the weight of the nose of your aircraft

stop lmao it's krinj
No. Closest thing to it is connections.
I mean, do what you want. Nobody's gonna complain unless you change it to something either cringy, or something that's really dumb.

just watch it till the end.
